Im a lifetime New Orleans Saints fan! Who dat! Who dat! Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints! In addition to being a Saints fan, I'm a LSU Tigers Fan and a Southern Jaguars fan. When it comes to the NBA, I'm down with the New Orleans Hornets. As baseball goes, I'm an Atlanta Braves fan for life! Congratulations to the first two time BCS Champion LSU Tigers

  • Patrick Willis - the best MLB in football?

As I was watching the New Orleans-San Francisco game, I was very happy to see the Saints win. But what was very exciting to watch was the play of Patrick Willis. He made plays all over the field, was good in pass coverage and is very strong against the run. He is not just a sideline-to-sideline LB, he's an all over the field LB. Is it just me, or does anyone else believe that he has quietly become the NFL's premier MLB? Ray Lewis is still solid at 33, but not the best anymore in my opinion. Urlacher? Still strong, but doesn't have the range that he used to have. What do you think? If Patrick Willis isn't the best MLB in the league right now, who do you think is?

  • Worst Wrestling Storylines Ever?

Over the years we have seen some wonderful angles in wrestling, but there have been some that just were plain awful. A few that come to my mind: The Kane-Katie Vick storyline when he was feuding with Triple H, Mae Young & Mark Henry when she gave birth to a hand, Big Show dragging the coffin of the Big Boss Man's "father" at the funeral, and more recently, Kane with the mask of Rey Mysterio shouting "is he alive or dead". What are your opinions?

  • In your opinion, what is the worst gimmick in WWE history?

Over the years, Vince McMahon and his writing crew have come up with some serious stinkers. A few that come to my mind are Bastion Booger, Duke "The Dumpster" Droese (it's time to take out the trash), Adam Bomb (get it), and Isaac Yankem, DDS (see he's an EVIL dentist...poor Glen Jacobs a/k/a Kane). What do you think?

Who is the artist that sings the rap song that goes "used to be a dime piece now a bell pepper, shaped like squash hamburger helper"? What are the lyrics?

  • Fellow WHO DAT NATION Members, This Offseason, The New Orleans Saints should...?

    1) Cut CB Jason David - No explanation needed.

    2) Re-sign Jeff Faine and Jamar Nesbit - The offensive line has allowed the fewest sacks in the NFL the last two seasons. Part of that is because of the chemistry among the line. Keep them here!

    3) Sign Asante Samuel or Marcus Trufant - You have the cap room to do so and Usama Young is probably a year away from starting. He can take over for McKenzie when he retires because he's not getting any younger

    4) Cut WR Devery Henderson - Drops way too many catchable balls. And his drops rubbed off on the other receivers. Plus Robert Meachem never even touched the field this season, so lets see what he can do

    5) Draft either DT Sedrick Ellis or LB Keith Rivers - They need a young playmaker in the front seven. In a perfect world, Glenn Dorsey would be there at 10 but he wont so go with one of these guys, although I like Rivers a little more because of his speed (Our LB's are kinda slow)

What do the fellow members of the WHO DAT Nation thnk?

  • Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous that Jeff Garcia was added to the NFC Squad over Drew Brees?

When Brett Favre pulled out of the Pro Bowl, it left a spot open at quarterback on the NFC squad. Tampa Bay QB Jeff Garcia was chosen as his replacement. No diss to Garcia, but Drew Brees led the NFL in completions (440), attempts (652), finished second in completion % (67.5) and yards (4423) and finished 6th in TD passes (28). Garcia threw for a modest 2440 yards and 13 TD's. I thought it was messed up that Brees was overlooked on the first squad, but to not be added after Favre pulled out is ridiculous. Marques Colston's omission is somewhat understandable because the NFC is deep at receiver, but there aren't many quality QB's in the NFC and Brees is one of them. What do you think?

  • Isn't it great to be from Louisiana right about now?

Think about it. The LSU Tigers won the BCS Championship and are the only 2-time BCS Champions. The New Orleans Saints, although they finished 7-9, have the 10th pick in the draft and a ton of salary cap room, so they can make some serious upgrades. The New Orleans Hornets are the leaders of their division, the host team for the NBA All-Star game, their coach Byron Scott is the coach of the All-Star team, and Chris Paul and David West both made the All-Star team. And to add to that, for the second straight year, A quarterback from Louisiana (New Orleans to be exact) hoisted the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the Super Bowl and was the MVP of the game (Peyton & Eli Manning). To make it sweeter, Eli Manning was joined by Napoleanville, LA native Brandon Jacobs, who had a key 1 yard run to keep the game winning drive going, and Baton Rouge, LA native Reggie Torbor, who played a role in the smothering defense the Giants played. Plus it's Mardi Gras time. Louisiana is KING right now!

  • What is the best media headline for the Giants Super Bowl Win?

The one in the Baton Rouge Advocate said "18-and-NO", and that by far is my favorite. What are some of the ones you've seen? Or if you've developed your own let me hear those as well.

  • Reality Check: Let's See If You Go After Clemens Like You Did Bonds?

This is for all of you who have constantly bashed Barry Bonds over the years for allegedly using steroids. Here is the time now where you can prove that he wasn't being bashed because of his race (which I believe has a LOT to do with it). I have heard people try to defend Clemens by saying "well he never tested positive". Neither did Bonds. They say that Bonds' record is tainted, if that's the case, so are the 350+ wins of the "Rocket". Over half of the New York Yankees who played on the team that won four titles in five years were in the report. Then taint their World Series and asterik all their stats. If you are going to bash Bonds, bash Clemens because there is the same amount of tangible proof that they did steroids, which is next to none. If you don't attack Clemens as you did Bonds, then you make me believe what I thought all along was true, which is Barry Bonds was bashed not just for his steroid use, but also because of his race. SOMEBODY PROVE ME WRONG!

  • What team(s) with a winning record just don't do it for you?

There are some teams in the NFL who have winning records or even .500 records who play very underwhelming football. The question is - which team(s) with .500 or over .500 records just dont impress you at all and leave you wondering how they even got to where they got?

For me, my top team of that nature would be the Baltimore Ravens. They won 13 games last year and I wasn't all that impressed then either. The defense has injury issues and is not exactly setting the world on fire, which makes me wonder why Ray Lewis, who is not as good as he used to be and was never as good as HE thought he was, would call the offense out. The offense is horrid, but the Ravens can't stop anyone anymore.

My other team is the Tennesse Titans. Yes they're 6-2, but they play some very sloppy, unimpressive footall. In two of the six Titans victories, Vince young has thrown for under 100 yards. They turn the ball over too much and that will eventually catch up with them. Who are yours?

  • Is this "justice"? (Leonard Little vs. Michael Vick)?

I was listening to Mike & Mike this morning and they mentioned Leonard Little, the defensive end for the Rams who killed Susan Gutweiler while driving drunk in 1998 and then was arrested for drunk driving again in 2004 and got off on a technicality. Michael Gutweiler, son of Susan Gutweiler, called in to the show to weigh in on the Michael Vick situation. To my surprise and my disgust, the man said that Leonard Little NEVER offered an apology of ANY SORT. Not written, not over the phone, not face to face. Nothing. The fact that he got drunk and got behind the wheel of a vehicle makes him an idiot. The fact that he NEVER once apologized till this day makes him a heartless, cruel idiot. Yes what Vick did was wrong. I am not defending his actions. But Leonard Little recieved 90 DAYS IN JAIL, 4 YEARS PROBATION AND 1000 HRS. OF COMMUNITY SERVICE. FOR KILLING A PERSON! They want to give Vick 18-24 mos. for killing DOGS. The justice system has its priorities f'd up. What do you think?

  • What is up with King Booker?

Have you noticed how he goes back and forth between the "King Booker" gimmick and the "Booker T" gimmick? One while he's talking like he's from London, then in the SAME SENTENCE, he starts talking like he's straight out the 5th Ward of Houston (he's from Houston, TX). Whats up with that? And there have been rumors he will return to the Booker T gimmick soon. Will he revert back to the "King Booker" gimmick in the midst of the "Spinarooni" and saying "sucka"?

  • No love for Dirk Nowitzki?

Okay folks, first, I am a huge Mavericks fan and I've been a fan of Nowitzki since he came into the league. He has elevated his game to elite status in the past few years. He can score 25 points a game, he's an above average rebounder that can get between 9 and 10 rebounds a game. He shoots a high percentage from the line (90%), the field (50%) and from three point land (40%). He's the star player of the star studded Dallas Mavericks and a serious MVP candidate. Yet all I hear lately is criticism like "Well he choked last year in the Finals" and "Well the Mavericks would still be good without him" and "He gets a lot of easy points". All kinds of negativity. A basket is worth 2 points no matter how you get it, dunking, layup, jumper, tip-in, etc. My question is, why all the haterism on Dirk Nowitzki's game? He can score any way possible, rebounds and plays above average defense (it could be better). Why no love for Nowitzki?

  • Should the NBA change its playoff seeding AGAIN?

The NBA changed its seeding format this season after last season's playoffs produced a second round Mavericks-Spurs matchup. The seeding was tweaked to guarantee the division winners a top four seed instead of a top 3 seed. The NBA still screwed up. In the East. The Bulls, who won 49 games, are the 5th seed. Miami, who won 44 games are a 4th seed. Detroit won the East with 52 wins this year. I feel that the NBA seeding should be based on RECORD ONLY. Division winners should not be rewarded. When the NBA went from four to six divisions, it enusured that there would be at least one weak division in each conference. A division championship should guarantee you a playoff spot ONLY. If the seeds were based on records, Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago would have been the top 3 seeds regardless of division. What do you think? Should the NBA adopt this format or keep the current format? Should they go back to what they did before? Let me know what you think.

  • If your favorite NFL team could draft any player in the Draft, who would you want them to pick?

Imagine if your team could select any player in the draft with their first round choice, regardless of your team's actual draft position. Who would you want them to pick and why?

My team is the New Orleans Saints and if we could have anyone, I'd take Calvin Johnson. Imagine that offense with Calvin Johnson on one side, Marques Colston on the other side and Devery Henderson in the slot. We'd have no need for a pass catching TE then. Plus Bush and McAllister to carry the ball. We would be unstoppable!

  • First Round NFL Draft Surprise? This year's Marques Colston?

Every year in the draft, there is at least one first round selection that suprises everyone, even well known ESPN Draftologist Mel Kiper. Last year, we had Donte Whitner, John McCargo, and Davin Joseph, all unexpected to go as high as they did or even in the first round at all. Who do you think will be the surprise first round pick(s) this year? What player(s) do you think will be drafted towards the end of day two (rounds 6 & 7) that will have a dynamic impact on their team this coming season (a la Marques Colston)
