hello, i'm 25 with a 7 year old child. I've been lucky enough to win a little bit of money lately and i want to invest it for my child. i'm looking to invest a £1,000. i have no experience in shares whatsoever.

i would like to know; if i buy a share in a company like Apple or McDonalds which is almost gauranteed to still be going in 10 years does the value of my share increase over time or is it a waste of ten years?

Also if you have any recommendations for which company is a good long term investment?

The difference between living in the countryside and town is vast, the biggest difference personally is that I prefer the social life the town offers. I also prefer being close to my family and the town makes rhis easier.

I live in Enfield and I have also been to Cuffley, I love the look of Cuffley it looks brilliant and compared to Enfield it looks like heaven. I really do not like Enfield because there are too many crimes particularly riots, cuffley has none of these problems.

Next weekend I will not be in Enfield as my Aunt if getting married, she lives in Sunderland, this is where I grew up as a kid I don't have any memories of living in Sunderland as I moved when I was a 2 years old. I hope my Aunt has a really good wedding and we have an amazing time.

my family has 4 members, my mum who would not want me to say her age, my dad who is 40, my two brothers one is 20 and the other is 10. my family are very lazy and love watching tv because they hate exercise, once a year we have a family holiday generally to Spain or Cyprus. we all love these holidays as they are fun and we get away from the English weather for a while. my nan also comes on these holidays and we have to pay extra for her dog because they love eachother too much.

i remember on one holiday we went to Spain and my brother jumped off the boat so my dad had to help him and in trying to do so he nearly drowned, not my brother. Je pense que our holidays are always very fun and bring us some very funny memories! last weekend i went shopping with my friends we had a good time and enjoyed all the different shops, i bought a pair of jeans, a top and a pair of shoes. they are very nice and i can't wait to wear them out this week!! In the future i want to go with my friends to Ibiza on a lads holiday, we have already planned this in advance and i were all very excited about this and can't wait to turn 18 to go.
