I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado PU that hasV8 vortec engine in it that will not start, we have pinpointed that it is the fuel pump, my problem is that the VIN shows the truck should have a V6 in it and the motor is a Vortec V8 (the perils of buying from honest car salesmen). Anyway, I am not sure which fuel pump. Technically, it should be the V6 pump in the tank, but, when a motor is changed is a fuel pump change part of a new motor? I know I am swatting at flies with this, but wanted to run it by the community before I had to take the bed off of the truck. (the gas tank is full, so taking the bed off probably the least difficult route). The two pumps are completely different, and the prices reflect that. v6 about $50, v8 about $240. I have a acer aspire 5520 running Vista sp2. Internet works, but i can not access ALOT of files. I keep getting 'host process blah blah." I am unable to download anything, especially any spyware removal tools, shows a win32 error. I have tried start, run, regedit, and it is not there. I have found it but i still can not access it because of the win 32 error. AArrrrgggHHHH!!! So, do i beat it with a bat or is there even a glimmer of hope? Thanks for any and all help in advance!

I bought a used Chevy Silverado pu, and was curious if it has keyless entry capabilities. Would I find this with a VIN search, or is it a dealer only pay them $100 for the answer type of question? Thanks for any help!

It has 33/1250/15 tires on it, it is 4wd. I have never had a truck do this. Could it be the tires or is it a possibly a steering problem? Would worn out steering knuckle cause this? Thanks for any input!

I am confused, i thought we attacked Iraq, because, um, whathisname(sodamninsane) supposedly had nuclear weaponos (cough, cough), so Iran SAYS they have them, they are going to use them and we dont do nothing about it. I have an acer laptop that I want to attach a 22" monitor to it. I attached the VGA cable, and when I turn on the laptop, the starting screen Windows XP loads on the 22"monitor, but when it gets done, the screen on the laptop pops on and the other monitor shows "no signal" I downloaded a driver from acer, but still no go. Any suggestions?

My kid tried to put windows on his macbook (i know I have an einstein in the family, but...) so now the computer quit working. I bought a retail copy of snow leopard, but I still get the Mac OS X can not be installed on this computer thingy, Can anyone PLEASE help me? I have no idea what to do, I have researched and looked and googled and found thousands of people with the same problem, but no clear solution.

I have a model A1181 (2007) Macbook, I need to buy the OS install disks, been looking on ebay, and there are many different versions, but none of them list model#, only MB#'s Where would I find the MB or what version would I buy? 10.4 10.5.........Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My dad died four months ago, and the Veterans Administration has NOT yet done anything in any way to get benefits to my mom for the 'surviving spouse'. My father was a Veteran for over 35 years, and received benefits for that long, so what could possibly be the hold up in getting this sorted. And, more importantly, do other surviving spouse have to deal with this type of crap trying to get things settled after a death. Having your loved on die is bad enough, but to be hung out to dry and ignored, and given the run around for four months is completely disgusting.

Does anyone have any suggestions on who I can contact to help my mom get this matter settled, and settled for what she is suppose to get, not be screwed out of anything? Is there anyone out there that is an advocate for the Veterans and their surviving spouses? Thanks for any help in advance.
