  • Why is Yahoo emailing people to upgrade to IE 8, but telling them not to on their website?

    Yahoo is emailing their patrons encouraging them to upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. Then, on the Yahoo Games website, they are suggesting that you NOT upgrade to IE 8 because most of the game won't work.

  • Bahama's hotel recommendations?

    I'm planning a trip to Bahama's and since I've never been, thought I'd get the advice of my trusty fellow-yahoo-answer-ites. :)

    I was thinking Nassau/Paradise Island because I can get a direct flight there from where I live. It's just two of us and we aren't into going to noisy nightclubs or being really social. We just want to get away from the city life for a few days and be somewhere quiet.

    Are there any hotels you can recommend that are peaceful and relaxing? One on the beach is a must and a pool is a big plus. We just want to relax, read, sit on the beach, walk around, etc.

  • How do you clean a coffee maker?

    I have a standard, run of the mill, coffee maker. No timer or fancy gadgets. Just on and off. Is there a safe way to clean the insides? I think I heard a while back of running vinegar or something through the brew cycle but I could be wrong.
