  • How do I combine two images to make a bigger one online?

I want to add another photo underneath a different one, to create one image/file, but I don't have photoshop, or even MS paint. I don't want any fancy effects. I can basically do it by putting them on a word document, and taking a screenie, but my monitor isn't big enough, and I want the images to be of decent quality.

  • Cause of horse stomach ulcers?

I know contrary to what many people think, human stomach ulcers are actually caused by a bacterial infection, not stress or diet.

Is this is the same with horses? I'm sure diet is a factor, but is the main cause infection?

  • moist hide for leopard gecko?

I have an adult leopard gecko and every time he sheds, bits of the old skin stay on his toes. I know this is because of a lack of humidity and he needs a moist hide so i was wondering what sort of a hide a should get and how do i keep it moist for more than a few hours.

I tried an upside-down margerine container with moss but the moss was just in there and made little room for the gecko. is there some way to keep his tank more humid?

  • Kincade or Wintec 500 dressage saddle?

Im looking to buy a relatively cheap dressage saddle, for my first saddle. ( i use an all purpose one right now) I've been looking hard at the wintec 500 with the adjustable gullet, because then it may fit more than one horse at my barn, but recently i've found some decent looking kincade synthetic saddles as well. which is the better saddle?

  • Best cheap(ish) dressage saddle?

Hey, im looking for a dressage saddle for under 500 dollars, i only ride 2 or 3 times a week, and not always dressage, so it wouldn't need to be super-duper top quaility, and synthetic is fine.

I was looking at the WIntec 500 dressage saddle, but there's also a Hilason dressage saddle for much less. Are Hilason saddles decent? and it calls their dressage saddles aslo "trail or pleasure saddles" that doesn't mean much, does it?

    thanks,

  • What should i do about an obese pig with bad skin?

the stable where i work has recently been given an old pot bellied pig, named Lucy. The problem is that she is very fat. So fat that i think she can barely see because the fat covers her eyes. She's given senior pig food twice a day, and let out for an hour or so.

The other problem is that her skin is extremely dry and is cracked all over and peeling. How should we help her skin? i read somewhere that olive oil can help

  • my rat has bald spots and scabby bits on her back?

she has thin hair to begin with, but she also now has bald spots on her haunches, and lesion or scabs on her back. She lives with another rat, but there's really no way they could have gotten anything contagious as they've never been out of the house or in contact with other rats. The other rat is fine.

what do you think is wrong with her? And what should i do?

  • my pet rat wont leave my shoulder?

im taking care of a friends two pet female rats while their house is renovated, and i want to get their little brains working with games, tricks ect. however, the one rat who seems to mind being touched less, will only go on my shoulder. She literally wont be happy(?) anywhere else if she's not in her cage. I've tried tempting her with food, treats, but when i put her down all she does is try to get back up to my shoulder.

Is there some way i can make her more comfortable elsewhere?

The other rat wont go on my shoulder, she prefers to be allowed to explore, but i get the feeling she's not happy out of the cage either as she wont accept treats either.

what can i do to make my rats more playful ( i guess is the term) or more comfortable outside the cage?

  • Should i polo wrap my arthritic horse during warm ups?

im about to lease an 18 year old thoroughbred mare, and she has arthritis in her leg joints, im not sure which ones in particular.

I know to warm her up really well before i ride, (walking her for 10 minutes) but her old leaser would ride her with polos, should I?

im a bit hesitant to use polos even in warm up because i don't want her legs to over heat.

    what do you think?
