I recently brought my control arms (front lower) into a shop to have them press the old bushings out and put the new one is that I supplied. They anticipated 2 hrs worth of work. Which in my opinion was already too much, but I decided to go with it. The next day they called me saying that the job was done and they had over 4hrs of work into it and that one of my control arms was cracked. So the bill comes out to $496... Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the services. Aside from the ridiculous amount of money that they are charging me they installed a bushing in a cracked control arm, and never notify me of anything until they were done (the control arm was not cracked when i brought it in). Can I legally decide not to pay him and leave the parts that I brought to him?

I am a zoology major, and i have to conduct an animal behavior research project on my own. I would ideally like to use mice because a lot of my other peers will be using minnow's and other fish. We cannot use plants. A few things that came to mind was studying reaction time/learning time of mice in separate age groups...? Any other god idea's?? :) thank you!!
