I am buying a new computer (not building, don't have the time or knowhow) and I'm not sure which of these graphics cards I should go with (these are all the options HP offers). I do a decent amount of gaming, some photo editing, and a lot of mid-range video editing. These are my options, and I am also planning on SLI/Crossfire should what I pick become somewhat obsolete. I have decided everything else I need for an upper-middle range gaming/editing computer, which is what I aim this to be. Other parts- Intel Core i7-930, 1TB HDD in RAID0, 9GB RAM, so I want something that will go well with these. Currently I'm thinking of going with the HD 5770 but I want some other opinions. Price is not much of an issue, all of these options can be covered, so I just want to know which is best.

I was planning on buying a computer at Costco, and I heard that Father's Day is the best time to buy a computer because prices are lowered. Would it really matter if I bought it now or then? It's a little bit on the higher-end side if it matters.

I'm just saying, if the age cutoff is like 27 or something, they aren't going to let a 62 year old even try out. Was it just a publicity stunt, something that would go viral and make American Idol known again? That's probably what they were going for when they got the whole lobby to sing it. I know it's been a while since it aired, but I've got money on it. I would also like a credible source if you've got one. Thanks

I'm looking at the HP Pavilion HPE-180t from HP direct, customized with a few options (seeing as I don't have the time or experience to build a computer from scratch) and I am disgusted that they only put a 460w PSU on it, especially since I'm getting the 1.8GB Geforce GT260 and the Core i7-930, and I might be wrong, but I don't think that's going to be enough. What would be a power supply that is somewhat inexpensive but a bit over what I would need that would work with little to no effort other than plugging in the cables?

OK so my friend is convinced that his MW2 edition Xbox 360 has built-in wifi, and I'm trying to tell him he's crazy. I figure you guys might be able to help clarify it for him if he won't believe me. (He hardwires it anyways so he wouldn't know, I told him to unplug the ethernet and see if it still works but he's stubborn)

I'm trying to graph a Stat and I put all my information into the Stat edit, then I turned #1 on in Stat Plot. When I try to Zoom stat it gives me the error message. What do I do?

I don't mean the ones with N, I have a b or g network, and the old ones are now cheaper. I used to use my laptop but it was cheap and the wireless broke and the USB is far too slow.

I'm not exactly the master of computers, so I'm not going to build my own, and this looked pretty good for the price except I was hoping for a quad-core, and I've heard really good things about the i7-920. However, I have no idea if it would work. thanks in advance

I am looking at this XPS http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/dell-studio-xps-s... which I saw at a local store and I'm pretty sure this would meet my needs, but I haven't found many reviews for it. I am pretty sure Dell is good, but has anyone heard of any major problems with their products? I plan to use this for moderate/heavy gaming, and I have heard of building my own computer. Don't bother mentioning it, I just plain can't do that. If anyone has any other suggestions in that price/spec range, I am all ears. Thank you!

It's 2.33GHz but it's a quad-core, so I'm not sure how that would compare to other processors, so should I upgrade it, and if I do, what should I get? Also, I would be in need of a networking card, can I put one in, how would I go about that (links are sufficient), and what recommendations would you have on that? Thank you very much!

I was thinking about getting the Xplorer X7 7700 notebook, based on its wonderful specs for the price, but looking at some of the reviews of CPPC in general, well, lets just say they aren't great. I noticed most of these were about custom-built desktops though, so are their laptops better? If you don't recommend them, where can I find a similar laptop in both price and specs? I've got a Compaq Presario F730 and it has an nVidia Nforce Networking Controller and it recently has been having problems, the switch on my laptop is blue when wireless is on and orange when it's not, and it now stays on orange, I restarted, installed SP2, tried everything I could think of other than getting a laptop that doesn't suck or a USB adapter. What can I do?

It's a finished basement and I wasn't down there for 2 days or so and when I went down, it was filled with flies and a smell of some kind of rotting flesh, most likely a small rodent. What kind of methods could I use to find it?

The wireless light is off, and it won't connect but it is shown in my "Connect to a Network" window, but I click it and it says it doesn't get a response. The support website is no help, as anyone who has seen it knows. I really need help please!!
