  • Are the bedrooms in base housing at incirlik ab big enough for a king bed and still be comfortable?

My wife and I are looking to purchase a new bed and want a king but wondered how large the master bedroom is in an average home on base. She is an officer and idk if that makes a difference.

  • Is it unreasonable for my fiancé to ask me ti follow her?

I have already asked this in a much more long winded question but I'm looking for something more specific.

Is it unreasonable for my fiancé to ask me to leave my job and my home and all that I own, in order to follow her half way around the world, just because she isn't ready to get married yet? I mean if she isn't ready I kinda think she should give the ring back. She was ready a month ago and we even had a date. But she canceled it. She is having trouble with trust based on me not telling her something about my past. So should I go or not?

  • How much is too much?

How long is reasonable to wait for full forgiveness?

I have a past. We all do. I however did not tell my fiancé about an affair that I had in my first marraige. I am not the person I used to be. That is my past and I have put it behind me. My fiancé and I had a date picked and a deposit on the venue. She has her dress and we were ready to marry. When she found out about my past she canceled everything and is now telling me she has no idea how long it will take her to trust me again. She continues to throw it in my face and now she expects me to move to another country to be with her when the military moves her in 3 months. Is that reasonable? I realize I should have told her about my past. I was wrong and I know it. She seems to think that it's just fine to keep me in limbo until she moves past this but isn't there a reasonable amount of time for that? I didn't cheat on her and never would. My previous marraige was a real mess. We were both miserable and both made huge mistakes. But that was a long time ago and will never make those mistakes again. Help!

Its not what I did in my past that she isn't forgiving. It's the fact I didn't tell her about it.

  • I was stationed in Incirlik before and I was exempt from paying federal income tax. Is that still the case?

My bride to be is an officer in the AF and we are considering going to Incirlik. I was stationed there from 92 to 94 but that was a long time ago. Just wondered if anybody knows if they are still tax exempt.

  • What happened to the unity?

I mean really!!! I thought Obamas election would instantly create a world in which all people of all nations and backgrounds would unite in peace and happiness. Why then have I read more anger and hatred on yahoo answers today, than ever before. Guess some of you didn't get the memo that we are all supposed to just get along now. Oh yeah, I'm talking to you Dem's. I have read so much anger and hatred towards anyone who voted for McCain. One person even stated that she wished something to the effect of "Pain and suffering" for all who voted for McCain, as well as for their families. Fortunately that question was deleted. We know you are sore losers, but I never expected you to be such sore winners. The most tolerant party has and always will be the party of hate and the party that helped create the KKK. That would be the Democrat party.

  • Are the administrators of yahoo answers racist or just mean?

I posted a question the other day about white men, (Me) dating a black woman. I wondered what I could expect as far as dirty looks from others and that type of thing.....not that I care what they think, I was just curious what experiences others have had. Anyway one of the answerer's said that it was disgusting that I would even consider doing such a thing. I responded by saying that that person is obviously a racist.....which is clearly the truth, but I even thanked them for their answer. She then reported me for unsulting her, and my question got deleted. Whats up with that? She was being the racist jerk and my question gets deleted. Has this happened to anyone else.

  • How do you Obama folks like that he supported this?

A woman's "right" to allow her child to die in a closet, alone, after it had survived an abortion. Being ok with abortion is one thing, but throwing a living, breathing, human being into a closet after they survived the abortion is completely different.

  • Question for believers and atheists alike.?

Please answer as honestly as you can. I know I will still get some sarcasm and that's always gonna be the case but I am looking for some real answers here, not just drivel. My question is this.

Why do you come here to ask and answer questions? For the most part, I have noticed that the Christians seem to think that they can convert an atheist by a little open dialog and debate. (Side note for those that think that.....more often than not, it ain't happenin!) And it seems that the atheists just come on here to make fun of, and ridicule believers of all faiths. So I have just been wondering what are your real reasons for coming on here? Please state what you are, (Atheist or believer) then give your reason. Thanks

  • Athiest...How do you know there is no God?

A previous question as to WHY you don't believe, got an answer of "Because there is NO god" so that leads me to ask this question.

Seriously, unless you know everything there possibly is to know, then why isn't it possible that God exists and you just don't know about it? I hear something new almost everyday that I didn't know the day before, yet that doesn't mean that it didn't exist the day before. It just means i didn't know about it.

  • Where is the racist Quanell X?

I'm really not sure what section to put this in, but I thought a few of you might have an opinion.

A few months ago, a man in Texas shot and killed two burglars as they exited his neighbors home. I'm not asking if you think that was right or wrong now. Quanell X was all over it. He wanted the man indicted and tried for murder. Needless to say, the two burglars were black.

Shortly after that incident, on father's day of all days, (In the same town), a black man murdered his two young children and stuffed them into a box. He then hid the box in the woods.

The two burglars were illegal felons who were committing yet another crime when they were killed by a man protecting himself and property. The children were young, innoscent, and murdered in cold blood, yet there was no cry from Quanell X of any kind. I wonder why? Is it possibly because the "killer" in the first case was white, and the killer in the second case was black?

  • Why don't you libs get upset with the governments windfall profits on oil?

The fed gets 18.4 cents for every gallon of gas sold. That's roughly double what the oil companies get for that same gallon of gas, and they didn't do a darn thing. And that doesn't include the corporate taxes that are paid by the oil companies themselves which are almost half of their gross profit. I just don't get the double standard here.

    8 AnswersElections1 decade ago
  • Last quarter the oil companies made 11.9 billion. Anyone know what the government made from the sale of gas?

Also can anyone tell me how much tax was paid by Exxon last quarter?

    10 AnswersPolitics1 decade ago
  • If we don't drill for oil now, what will the price of gas be in ten years?

And don't give me a bunch of crap about alternatives. There are no economical replacement that can be brought in line and out and out replace oil in the next ten years so don't even try it. if you believe that thenyou're a fool. Just answer the question.

  • Why would we elect a person to command the military that can't even qualify to be in the military.

One of the first questions asked when going to the military is, "Have you ever, or do you currently associate with any known terrorists, or members of the communist party?" Obama is friends with the admitted terrorist William Heirs (sorry I dont know if I spelled his last name right) and says that they are friends. That automatically disqualifies him to serve in the military, so how can he possibly command the military?

  • How easy is it to take an ex wife back to court over a financial situation?

My divorce decree states that I am obligated to pay half of some debt that we had when we were married. there are two credit cards that equal about the same amount. One of them is mine and the other is hers. They were both written off as a result of her losing a job and now we r paying them together. I want to just let mine go away since it's already been written off and legally I'm no longer obligated to pay, but she is trying to make me keep paying and not allow me to remove my debt from the agreement and be done with her and the debt between us. How easy would it be for me to take her back to court and try to have it handled there?

  • Why would people vote for Obama when he promises to raise taxes by repealing the tax cuts of 2002?

before you say that the tax cuts were only for the rich, read the facts below.

The first rate listed are the taxes in 1999 under Bill Clinton. The second rate listed are the taxes under G. W. Bush in 2008 after he cut taxes for the so-called "Rich". Compare for yourself.

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400

    Single making 30K - tax $4,500

I'm currently in that first catagory so if Obama is elected I will pay an extra $3,900 in taxes / year. I don't think that I fall into the catagory of rich, do you?

    Married making 60K - tax $16,800

    Married making 60K - tax $9,000

Maybe that last one is your catagory.. if so, say goodbye to an extra $7,800. That's more than $600/month. Is that a car payment, or maybe your rent or a large part of your mortgage??? every single month!!!!

    Married making 125K - tax $38,750

    Married making 125K - tax $31,250

That last catagory was me a few years ago, (before the Bush tax cuts). I paid an extra $7,500 Thanks to Liberals like Obama.
