  • 9 month old in daycare?

    Hi,

I have a 9 month old little girl. I'm a stay at home mom, also trying to go to school online. I am thinking about putting my little one in a daycare center for a few hours twice a week. My reasons for doing this is mainly because I want her to be around other little children. The daycare that I looked into only has 5 other children ages 2 months to 21 months. I would like her to be more socialized, the only person that she is really around is me and her daddy. Is it a bad thing to put her in for a few hours twice a week? I was hoping to use the time to do schoolwork and maybe some volunteer work somewhere. What do you think? Good idea or not?

  • Super Mario Galaxy...what do you think?

Hi, I'm thinking of trading in my game Bully:Scholarship Edition in and buy Super Mario Galaxy for Wii. Do you like it? It is good for two players? My husband and I like to play Wii games together and I was just wondering if you thought Galaxy would be a good one. Any other ideas for good two player games?

For the record we have: Wii Fit, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Wii Play, Big Brain Academy, Bully (for now), Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Boom Blox, and of course Wii Sports.

    Hi everyone,

Right now I'm a stay at home mom that travels with her husband. He works for an environmental services firm and travels year round, we live in different places in the US for several months at a time. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about work from home businesses that I could operate/run while staying home with my 8 month old daughter.

    Thank you so much!!!

Any experience anyone would like to share would be greatly appreciated!

  • I'm interested in the medical clerical field...any advice?

Hi, I'm 21 years old and I'm almost finished with my Associate's degree in Accounting. The thing is I'm not sure if I really want to work in an accounting field, I know I would like to work in the clerical field and I'm thinking of the medical field, like at the doctors office as the receptionist, or at the hospital in the X-Ray or Lab department. I was just wondering what sort of experience was needed and possibly if college was required. Does anyone work in this field? How do you like it?

Thanks so much for your time!

  • Home Staging, What do you think?

I have recently been thinking of starting a home staging business (the process of designing a home for sale), what do you think? Would you use a home staging service if your home was for sale? I have looked online and there are a lot of certification classes that you can take, however they aren't required and they are expensive. Do you think that makes a difference? Does anyone have any helpful advice for someone that wants to get into this business? I'm looking for serious answers please, thank you!

  • Can I wear my contacts lenses during labor and delivery?

I recently read in one of my pregnancy books that you can't wear contact lenses during labor and delivery, does anyone know if this is true? If so, why? I have horrible vision without my lenses in, and I don't like to wear my glasses, I don't feel like I "see" as well in them...Thanks!

  • Traveling on the road with a newborn baby?

I just found out that I'm pregnant and due in Dec. thing is my b/f travels for a living (6-7mnths at a time) He wants me to be with him on the road so that he can be a part of the baby's life, but it would mean me leaving home where I grew up. Right now he comes home about once a mnth (we live together) I don't want him to be a "once a month" dad but I'm worried about being away from home. Him working in this area is not an option because he has a great job and is high up in his company. Any advice
