In Japan nearly everyone moves around by using an electric train. Why can't the United States do that instead of using cars? According to some exchange students (from France, Ukraine, Spain Japan, ect) at my school their countries do not use cars as much as their main form of transportation. Their transportation runs off electricity or man power.The point that I am trying to make is: why doesn't the United States use forms of transportation that runs of electricity? Are the oil companies come into question with politics because of this? Meaning that some oil companies do not want the States to use any form of transportation unless it is benefits the oil companies. I am not sure where this is going so yeah.... I also do not fully understand what is going on in world politics. So if you want to complain about about the high gas prices go ahead. I just want people's opinions about oil companies and politics.

volume 9 came out april 1 2007. they still hadn't publish volume 10 (even in japan not just in the states). so i am wondering when The Astonishment of Suzumiya Haruhi (volume 10) comes out. oh and tell me what part of the story you like best (part a or b) and why. thank you.

i know already know that risa is not the main character and that the first chapter came out on May twenty something this year.
