A few years ago, I visited Australia. There everyone is called an Australian. It does not matter what other country they originated from, they are Australian.

Why does America have to be African-American, Mexican-American, Irish-American, etc? Why can't we be just Americans?

Until we change the labels we put on people, we will never be the melting pot that America is suppose to be. We will be more like a tossed salad. Never becoming a United country.
