My package shipped on Tuesday and the tracking # said it will arrive on Thursday. Wednesday morning the updated status says that it will arrive on Friday because of severe weather. Will I get some sort of refund since the 2nd day shipping is guaranteed? Thanks!

I was watching some physics videos that involves higher levels of calculus, (I'm in Calc 1) and I saw that people are using dx/dt like fractions and variables. For example I saw dx = (dx/dt) * dt. Why do they use d instead of just x = (x/t) * t. I thought differential operators can't be treated as fractions, or is this some sort of application of the chain rule that I don't understand. Also why do they sometimes put subscripts on the top like it is being squared (but it's not), like a^0. Can someone please give me a detailed explanation for why these are so. Thanks!

According to my calculator lim x→-1 lx+2l = 1 but when I work it out, it equals 3. I'm probably doing something wrong. Can anybody help me out?

When me and my friend were at a gas station I asked him to put $5 dollars of gas in my car so that I can make it home. Ok I have a Samsung Galaxy note 3 and I've been babying it for the last couple of weeks that I've had it and I noticed a tiny black dot in the center of the screen. This is really irritating me for some reason because it isn't a dead pixel and I can't wipe it off. Even though the dot is microscopic, it is really bugging me. What can this be? I don't want to walk in to AT&T complaining about a nearly invisible dot on my screen and having them replace it. Thanks in advance :-)

Alright so I'm in high school and psychology is something that really interests me. Things like ego, superego and id really captivates me. I'm really fascinated by how humans think and behave and I was wondering if anybody can reccomend me a book that is simple and easy to read. I want to know how humans process information and how we behave under certain circumstances. It would be nice if its a book that I can pick up at my local bookstore. I started with a Vcube 3 about 3 and a half weeks ago, and now I have a Dayan cube and I can sove it with an average of 42 seconds and my best is 31 seconds. I use Beginners Fridrich Method (Intuitive F2L, 2 Look OLL, Half full PLL). My biggest flaw is that it takes me a while to find the corresponding edges during F2L and I have to do a ton of cube rotations. Does anyone have any tips on F2L? And are my times slow considering the amount of time since I started? Thanks in advance :)

I am a junior in high school in Algebra 2. Next year I am taking Honors Math Analysis (Pre-Cal). I was originally planning to take calculus my senior year but I didn't make it in the summer Analysis class, so it is impossible for me to take calculus at my school my senior year. My plan was to master Trig/Pre-Cal on my own in the summer and move on to master calculus 1 on my own and take the AP Calc test at the end of senior year without actually taking the class at my school. I love math and I am the top student in my algebra 2 class. What is the best method for me to learn Trig/Calculus? I was thinking of kumon or getting a tutor but I don't know if that is the best option. Obviously getting study books is a good idea but which method do you guys recommend. I was also thinking about asking the Calc 1 teacher for the chapter tests and quizzes to see if I am on par with her students. Thanks in advance :)

I bombed a huge test and it really hurt my grade for that class but my teacher is offering is offering me a retake which he rarely does. He said the retake will be much harder but he will completely forget my old score if I get a higher grade on it. I've been busy with my other classes and I have only tomorrow to study. I've heard about a "Magic Pill" called adderall which apparently makes you extremely focused and obsessed with studying until it wears off. My question is if it is worth taking because I have to cram a lot of knowledge in my head tomorrow after school.

If so what is a safe dosage? How should I prepare myself (eat before, drink lots of water, etc.) And is it safe to take if I don't have ADD or ADHD (I'm 17, 130lbs). I am aware that it can be very addicting but this test makes a really heavy impact on my grade.

OK, I'm currently in the market for a WRX 2004 and up. I'm not really a big fan of the

older bugeye models. Are they worth buying? My budget is about 10 maybe 11k. How is the reliability on them. The ones in my budget have around 100-140k miles on them. I want a car that I can tune up a little bit but still has practicality. Thanks :)

Ok I am getting a car soon and I am thinking between these 2 used cars. The Subbie is definitely fast and can get you to 60 in a good 5 seconds, the build quality is nice, but not nearly as good as the Beamer. The 330ci looks just as good as the Subaru but isn't quite as fast, probably a second slower to 60. The BMW is cheaper which means I can put a better intake and exhausts and maybe some angel eyes and other aesthetic stuff. I really like the Subaru though and I have for quite a while, and the Subaru has a manual transmission as opposed to the beamers automatic "sportronic" transmission.

Hello I am 16 year old sophomore looking into getting a first car. My budget is around 15k and I practice driving almost everyday and mainly drive a BMW 3 series or a Sienna. I am not really power hungry and I know I have limits. I want a unique car that will stand out but not too targeted by other drivers to race. I am looking at some non turbo MK-IV supras, M3s, RX8, 944s, 350z and some others. I want a 2 door car with 4 seats preferably, but 2 seats is OK. I will mainly be driving to school (1 and a half miles), around town (small city around 300k people) and maybe once in a blue moon go out of town. I can drive auto or manual. I am a not a racer or a ricer but I do like fast cars. I personally think cars like the supra and the RX7 look beautiful but I don't know if I can handle those. So any reccomendations? Do you think a 16 year old can handle a non turbo supra? Thank you ;)

I am getting my licence soon and right now I'm in the process of learning to drive a manual transmission. I want to get a used nice small car, something like the miata or the S2000. I know that insurance will be high but I'm getting a job that pays a pretty good amount. I am a really careful driver and I won't be street racing or anything like that. So any recommendations, I really like the looks of the S2000 and please don't recommend a civic or something and also I will be mainly just driving around to school and around town.

OK, so I'm getting my licence soon and right now I'm pretty comfortable driving an automatic car. My uncle says for my 1st car I should get a manual transmission. Is it hard to switch from an auto car to a manual. I've never actually driven a manual car before but from research I sort of understand the basics but I'm still confused on some things. When you put the car in 1st and slowly release the clutch pedal with no gas at all will you start slowly going like on an automatic or will you not move at all. Also when you stop, do you brake then press the clutch and go to neutral. Or do you brake then press the clutch until you stop. Also when just cruising (no gas but still moving) do you have to put it in neutral. And do you always have to let the clutch out slowly or is that just in 1st gear. Can someone please explain how to drive a stick to me. I don't really have a car to practice on because my uncle sold his stick shift car. Guaranteed 10 points for best answer. Oh ya and any recommendations for a car, my uncle is telling me to get an RX7 or some of the older evos.

Ok, so my laptop screen has a little white spot in the bottom ish area and I guarantee that it isn't something stuck to the screen and I'm almost certain that it is a stuck pixel. For some reason it is more visible when the screen is white and when the screen is darker it isn't as visible. Brightness doesn't affect it. Nor does the flashing programs I used on it for an hour. But the weird thing is that it goes away for like a few minutes to an hour then comes back. And I found out when it disappears and I put pressure on the screen where it is, it comes back immediately. Please help!

Ok so EDM (Electronic Dance Music) is a subgenre of electronic music. And EDM has subgenres like Trance, Techno, Dubstep, Electro House, Drum and Bass, etc..... Can someone explain the difference to me because I know that Dubstep and DnB focus on the bass and sub-bass frequencies. Trance and Techno sounds almost the same to me and also electro house. So I've been using my friends klipsh s4i and they sound phenomenal and they are super comfortable but they feel a bit cheap. I've never tried the ibeats but they look cool and I heard that they were metal unlike the plastic klipsh. So if anyone can recommend a good pair of in ear headphones in the $100 range i would highly appreciate it. Should I just go with the s4i or get a different pair?

I'm looking for a cheap pen that I can do a lot of continuous writing very smoothly. I am also left handed so I need one that doesn't smear. I use a G2 right now and it writes nice but sometimes it doesn't write smooth and I have to go back and fix its mistakes. My price limit is around $15
