Hey there. So, I was taking photos today at a horseshow and I had been shooting for about 2 hours, but then randomly my camera refused to take photos. I looked at my camera’s screen and it said

“Card cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change the card or format card with camera”

I tried taking it out and putting it back in, turning off and on the camera, and I even tried blowing on the card (because I’ve heard that sometimes works) My camera is a Canon Rebel T3i and I love it, but this was literally in the middle of my photography! I also tried plugging my camera into the computer, but that didn’t work, so then I tried putting the chip directly in the computer but it didn’t even show up on my Desktop. I have a Mac, and I put another one of my SD cards in the computer and it worked. I know its not my camera thats being faulty because I just switched out the memory chips and it was just fine. I have no idea whats going on! I really want the photos that are on that chip! What can I do?

I need to make a newspaper about the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne. I’m usually pretty good about essays but I’m getting total writer’s block right now...so help would be greatly appreciated!(:

I need to write an article about what ACTUALLY happened in the book. What could I write this on?!

I also need a story that COULD have taken place...Everything that was happening was about the Holocaust, but I just don’t know what I could write about that!

I just really need some advice right now. I seem to always be mad at my parents for one thing or another, and even when I'm not around them, perhaps at school or something, and I think of them, anger and hatred just bubble up inside me. When this happens, it's not usually for one particular action they do. I'm really a good kid. I'm 15 going to a public high school but I've never smoked or drank or have done anything terrible before. Since middle school, I've always had issues with my parents, and they eventually started sending me to shrinks. By now, I believe I have been to 7 shrinks. Why? Because my parents don't agree with any criticism towards their parenting that the shrink gives them. They then sent me to a lady (whom I now go to every few months, though I do not like her) who is a therapist as well as a doctor who prescribes pills. I am now (and have been for 3-4) on Zoloft (an anti-depressant) and I do think it seems to help. I used to run away from home overnight at a family-friends house, hoping that maybe my parents would show some emption therefore proving to me that they love me more than anything or something...I don't even really know what I was going for... I now just try to avoid them as much as I can, which means staying after school in the library until it closes if I'm not at a friends house. Im realizing I really don't know where I'm going with my life story, I just really need some input as to what to do. I feel like I can never be completely happy again. I don't even know what advice I am even exactly asking for right now, I'm just so sad. What am I supposed to do with my life?

I am wondering what people think about checking a teens text messages.

My mother likes to check my text messages but it really bugs me because we are not very close (we never have been) and I really don’t like her getting into my personal life! I’m a good student, always getting A’s and B’s and I don’t really go to parties and I certainly don’t do drugs, so I find it really aggravating when my mother checks my texts! I have never done anything to tempt her to check them either! Its not that I have anything to hide, its just...well, MY life. Its gotten to the point where I don’t ever text my friends expect to find out what the homework is or to hang out.

My mother also stalks my Facebook. I’m fine with her being friends with me and checking up on me every once in a while, but she has programmed it so every time I write one comment or post one thing, she gets a notification. Again, I have nothing to hide, she just feels it necessary and it makes me so upset! Do you think this is reasonable?

So, today I went to a 3 day A-rated show that I will be competing at tomorrow to take pictures and check the scene out! Its really close to where I am so its not a big hassle to get there. Anyway, while I was there, I saw a girl I’m pretty friendly with, friendly enough to be considered a friend. She invited me over to her table, and I accepted because it was just so hot! When we got there, I realized it was her barn’s reserved table, and that in itself isn’t bad, its the trainer of that barn. The trainer of that barn does not in the least get along with my trainer. They have a history of working together and it just didn’t end well. Before I could leave, they invited me to sit down and there was no way out of it, so I accepted. She then introduced me and the unevitable question I was dreading was asked “Where do you ride?” Freaking out, I said my old trainer because I know that she and this trainer DO get along. But then they started asking me questions like who do you ride and whatnot, and it kept developing lie after lie! :( I am really ashamed about it but I just didn’t know what to do because I was afraid they would totally reject me and not let me hang out with them if they found out I trained with their competing trainer. I am goin to have to see them tomorrow, and since I am showing, my current trainer will be there. I know I messed up and I told some of the girls that she is my show trainer, but their trainer still doesn’t know and I think she likes me so I would hate for that to go. I want to be truthful, but I’m not really sure how I could tell them! I would seriously appreciate the help! I’m trying to write this very quickly so I’m sorry that’s its not the greatest or easiest to read! All help is helpful, thaknks!

I am going to Pony Club Quiz Championships (which is just horse knowledge) and I have looked on the internet a ton for horse trivia and important horsemanship facts, but I need more! I need to know the teeth in the horses mouth, all sorts of different types of tack and bits, and different coloring and really EVERYTHING! :P Any links or books or printable pages are perfect! So, I just asked a question because I found my dog shivering and drooling on his side looking in distress. He is a chihuahua but its around 80 degrees so he is most certainly not shivering form the cold. I would have taken him to my veterinary office but its Memorial Day so its closed. There is an emergency clinic nearby, but I will have to really convince my grandmother to take him there! So here is what happened:

I found my dog shivering and drooling laying on his side. When I went to touch him, he tensed up which is really abnormal for him. This is very much not like him, and I know shivering can be a sign that a dog is in pain. After a couple minutes, he got up and walked about ten feet over to my grandmother and lay down next to her, but still shivering and drooling. Then, after another few minutes he walked about 10 feet over the his bed and sat upright, then lay down, but still shivering (I could not tell if he was drooling) I left to write my first question about him on Yahoo! Answers (you can take a look at it, I am writing this as an update!) and when I got back he was up and trotting around the house like nothing happened! He is 9 years old and up to date on all his shots. I offered him food and he ate it, and am now trying to offer him water. I am now thinking it may have been a seizure! Could this be true? If not, what could it be? I’m so worried, but I am doing everything people told me too on my last question.

No, he does not feel warm. Yes, he is eating. He is very happy and trotting around the house now!

I know that if a dog has a seizure, you should take him to the vet immediately, and I really want to but my grandmother is not so willing! I need to build a case to get her to take him there! PLEASE help me!!!

Mt dog is laying on the floor shivering (but its around 80 degrees) and drooling a bit. He is a chihuahua mix and normally very happy and spirited. When I bent over to take a look at him, when I touched him he tensed up. Normally if I go to pick him up, he’s very happy to be picked up. This is very worrysome to me, but I am only with my brother and my grandmother. I asked my grandmother to take him to the vets office, but then I realized they were closed for Memorial Day. He won’t walk to me when I call him, nor will he try to play with my other dog. He has walked about ten feet to be next to my grandmother (before he lay right next to our pantry on his side) and he went next to her and layed on his belly and shivered and drooled, then he walked another 10 feet to his bed where is is sitting upright and still shivering and drooling. He has never been sick before and has the ultimate stomach of steel! He once ate a half bag of chocolate chips, and without vertinary help he was totally fine (he only barfed twice and then was happy as a clown) So, my grandmother says that if continues to do this for a while, we can take him to the emergency vet clinic. What can I do in the meantime?! I am so worried!!! Please help!

I love watching Criminal Minds and I want to watch LOST and Prison Break and what-not but I can’t record it on my television...what websites do you know of that offer full episodes free? (Of any shows, not just these :)

I am 14 and my father won’t let me watch Criminal Minds because he thinks its too sophisticated and gruesome for me. I have seen a few episodes (at night, while i was baby-sitting ((the kids were asleep)) and thats how I even know of the show) and I really love it! Its dramatic, but the crime scenes don’t bother me-since I know its fake- and its TV14 so I don’t understand why I cannot watch it! My mother is okay with it, he just won’t let me. Do you think this is reasonable?

So, I asked a little question before this because I was concerned about a little convoy my parents and I had with my trainer, when she was drunk. It was over phone on a Sunday night and my parents wanted to call to discuss a new saddle of mine. When she picked up, there were a lot of voices in the background and u could hear a football game going on, so she was obviously watching the football game. (That's no big deal, I'm just commenting) but she was mist definitly drunk. My dad asked if this was a good time to talk and she said yes so we started talking, but soon after my parents stopped and just said they would talk another time. But I know they got off because she was obviously drunk. After, my mom expressed concern about her being drunk, I got upset (but didn't show it to my parents) and I went on here and explained the whole thing and asked for help. Now, I'm 14 and I really like my trainer. What people told me is that we shouldn't even be calling on a Sunday night (but that's actually not in our case cuz she encourages us to call whenever we need her) and people also gave me other reasons like, its her life and as long as she is not drunk while teaching, its fine. Trainers have lives too. I finally got up the guts to ask my mom y she said she was concerned, and she said its because she doesn't approve of drinking, its not smart and she doesn't like me being around and close to people that get drunk. She has allowed me to keep lessoning with her, but my mom definitly is not all for it. What else can I tell my mom to make her realize its no big deal!!! She was off duty and having fun. Please, ok really stressed right now!!!!
