  • Can't connect to Skype?

I'm on a dell laptop and have recently updated to Windows 8.1 My Skype was working just fine about an hour ago, I was instant messaging a friend with absolutely no problem. Then I left it up for about 20 minutes, and it went completely blank on me. The only thing that I can get up is a blue screen with the Skype logo, it won't do anything else. I tried restarting my laptop, but that didn't help. I had plans to Skype with someone today, someone please help??

  • How do I delete search history from google?

My parents are going to be using my computer while I'm gone for awhile, and there's certain sites that I've googled multiple times and really don't want them to see! I know how to delete my browsing history, but what about how the site's URL shows up in a different color if you've accessed it multiple times? Knowing my parents, there's a good chance that they'll search it just to see if I have. Is there a way to delete that, though?

  • Can I pay online in a different currency?

I want to go to Ireland in a couple of months and would prefer to book my flights and hotel way ahead of time. But I'm from the states, so how would I go about paying in euros? Does it automatically transfer the funds over to their currency?

  • Song about being sorry/showing someone what they mean to you?

So here's the thing...I have a really good friend who I talk to online all the time. Last night we got into a huge fight, and I said some things that I didn't mean, things that made him think that he doesn't mean anything to me. We often talk through songs or lyrics, so I was wondering if there are any songs that talk about being sorry, that you messed up or let them down, but at the same time says how much they mean to you? Any ones that you know of? Preferably not country or rock, although I'll still take any suggestions...if you can help, thanks!

  • Nickname for a guy friend?

I have a guy friend who is one of my best friends, and I'm trying to come up with a nickname for him. I know that they're supposed to be personal, or based on an inside joke or something, but I seriously suck at coming up with nicknames. His name is Justin, although I'm not sure whether or not I want to give him a nickname based from his name....there is nothing between us-he has a girlfriend-but we do flirt quite a bit and joke around about each other being hot or sexy. We also tease each other a lot, but are very close friends....any ideas?

  • Good pranks to pull on an online friend?

So I have this guy friend (I'm a girl), but only online. He's pranked me multiple times, so I want to get him back, but I don't know how, because it's going to be hard to convince him. He isn't all that gullible. So I need a really good, believable prank to pull on him. Any ideas?

  • What to do about clumpy, greasy hair?

I used to wash my hair every other day (Can't go any longer than that), but then I noticed that the back strands were beginning to clump together, and sometimes the rest, so I tried washing it every day, but it's not helping. I've also tried switching shampoos, but nothing seems to work. Now, it doesn't matter when I wash my hair, it instantly looks clumpy and stringy, like I haven't washed it for a few days. What should I do?

  • My friend wants to run away from home?

Okay, first off, this is not your normal situation. This is an online friend who lives in Ireland. Therefore, I CAN'T contact anyone about this. I can't contact a parent or counselor. But he's very serious about running away from home (he's 16), and he's VERY stubborn. He says that he doesn't care if he ends up on the street. I asked him what he was going to about money, and he's talking about becoming a stripper. PLEASE, what can I say to convince him???

  • Can you cook raw hamburger in the microwave?

The thing is, we're living in a motel right now (Long story), so needless to say, we don't have access to a stove, only a microwave. We can think of some things to fix without a stove, but we'd need hamburger. Could we cook that in a microwave?

  • Is the first book It's A Mall World After All by Janette Rallison the exact same as the second?

This is probably a weird question, but I was just wondering: The first cover of this book (The green one) is the only one I can find to buy, but I just wanted to make sure that it's the exact same as the book with the second cover (The pink one). I just want to know if the second is only a different cover, and not a revised copy of the first copy. Can anyone help me?

  • Who can tell me of used bookstores in Marietta OH or Vienna WV?

I am a huge book addict and right now, I REALLY want to buy some new books, but my parents don't like buying online, so that's out, and I hate paying full price for every book I want when I can get a perfectly one for a lot cheaper. And I'm rambling, sorry. :) Okay, well, we just moved here, so I'm hoping some people can tell me of used bookstores around here, Parkersburg would work as well. I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info online. Thanks in advance!

  • I need a reason for a house to be evacuated for a few weeks (In my story)?

Okay, I'm working on a story, and one family needs to move in with another family for a few weeks. I thought about possibly using a gas leak, but my dad says it wouldn't take that long. The one thing I don't want though, is something like a fire, or a natural disaster (Hurricane, earthquake, etc.). I did think, maybe flooding?? I don't know, I just need something to get them out for a few weeks, but I don't want them to lose much either. Any suggestions?

  • What Christian song is this?

I heard it on the radio last night (K-LOVE, if that helps), but they didn't say who it was. The lyrics went something along the lines of "I'm treated like a prisoner, I'm treated like a king", something about being free (Really vague, I know). Does anyone know what this might be?

  • Read these lyrics, please?

Do these make any sense? If so, what do they mean to you?

    Look below the violet sky

Wipe away the tears you cry

The Northern Lights are a sign that there's still hope

  • Any good teen books out there?

Well...the main thing would be CLEAN books. I'm a Christian, so those books are encouraged, but I read secular books too. But in those books, I want no drugs, sex, swearing, etc. I know it's hard to find books like that, and I can handle a little (Not more than a couple times) swearing, but would prefer something without it. I read a LOT, and like authors such as Ally Carter, Jen Calonita, Janette Rallison, Jenny b. Jones, Melody Carlson, etc. Yes, I've read the Hunger Games and loved them, yes, I've read Lord of the Rings, Yes, I've read Matched (And Crossed and Reached) by Ally Condie. No, I don't want to hear about Harry Potter or Twilight. I'm not really picky about the storyline, although I'm partial to romance and comedy. Not the biggest fantasy or sci-fi fan, but I am definitely willing to try them. I also love books about teenage thieves (Like the Heist Society series by Ally Carter) or spies (The Specialists by Shannon Greenland). Also, I'm really wanting to read some books about kids who go to boarding school. I'd prefer books with a girl as the main character, but I'm willing to read them if a guy is the main character, too. Series or singles, doesn't matter. Hopefully it doesn't sound like I'm being too picky, but in case it does, I'm going to shut up now and let you people answer. Thank you in advance!

  • How can I watch shows for free?

I know there's websites like Netflix, but I'm not a member. Some I can find on Youtube, some I can't. What I really want to watch is Switched At Birth, but I can't find a website that will play it. Any ideas?

  • How clean is Switched At Birth?

The story line sounds really cool, but since it's ABC Family, I'm a little wary, since they also show ones like Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game. Is it clean? I want a show with little to none sexual scenes/references, drinking, cussing, etc. What do you say?

  • What's up with Wi-Fi?

I apologize, this question is going to sound really stupid. How does Wi-Fi work? Do you have to already have an internet connection, and then if you go to a place with Wi-Fi, you can get it there too? I mean, surely if you don't have internet you can't just go to a place with Wi-Fi and then get internet there...right?
