I started college in the fall semester with a full schedule of 19 credit hours, I paid for my expenses myself. I applied for a pell grant last week for the spring semester and they said I would receive full amount. Will I receive anything for the fall semester to help cover those expenses even though I applied late for the pell grant? thanks

I was recently laid off from my job. I was given a TOW permit which allows me to draw unemployment for 2 years while I go back to school. Problem is they only give me 6k a year for school and the program I'm looking into is going to cost 25k a year. Are there any grants out there to help laid off workers who are on a restricted income while they try to get a education to get a better job. If I can get a grant how much do you think they would pay. I have a family and 2 kids i'm supporting on umemployment and they do not allow me to get a job while enrolled in school or i forfeit my benefits. thanks

I recently was laid off due to my job going to Mexico. I was given a 2 year extension though Fair Trade Agreement to get a education. I had a interview today at the school to check on my school. For my 2 year degree it will cost 40,000 and I only get reimbursed 12,000. I tried a community college which is cheaper but they couldn't guarantee i could get in there program. It may take up to 4 years to finish there program. I am 33 married with 2 children. At the end of the two years i have to go to work the day after that last unemployment check gets here. I'm losing over half my income already. Do you know of any grants or funds available for these situations. Your help would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!

I'm trying to hook my xbox up to my westell modem. The MPU reading is 1480 but I'm still getting a MPU error. I'm using verizon wireless if that matters. Will getting a router solve this problem or will I still have the same issue. Any help is appreciated. thanks

I'm temporarily doing some work for the company i work for. I have alot of experience in heating and cooling but mostly residential. I'm working on 10 ton heat pumps that are 20-30 year old. It seems like all the units that are even running good are running about 350 lb of discharge pressure. Is that normal considering the age. I've cleaned condensor and evaporator and checked air flow. Any advice would be great. I would like to take this job but all these old units are really hard to keep up with. thanks

I have a 10 ton Trane A/C in my shop at work. They have put on a compressor and changed filter driers and changed the expansion valve. Still doing the same thing. It has about 110 lb of suction pressure and about 200 lb on the liquid side. Its been worked on my a few different people. I'm trying to get it fixed, and ideas what the problem may be?

My wife was recently in a accident that we were held liable for. I talked to my insurance agent after everything was done and he said the insurance was going to raise 3 points. Does anyone know how much that is in dollars or percentage? thanks

The Dept. of Transportation bought a small part of my property that i live on for a road widening project. I received $4000 for the property and received a 1099-s but can't figure out how to file this. I didn't make $4000 dollars on the sale, I didn't even want to sell it. The day I closed on my house the state man pulled in the driveway telling me there plans. I'm using Tax Act on line and can't find a form 1099-s. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Refinance rates are suppose to be down but where are the good rates to be found. I owe 123 on a 170 loan at 6.125 but would like to refi at 15 years. Ratest are said to be around 5 for a loan like this but I can't find it without paying 3000 in points. I had a deal with countrywide and called to check my lawyer fees and when i called back it raised 1/2 percent and was no longer a no cost refi. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

We puchased our new grand caravan saturday and my wife was in a accident on Friday. Were looking at I'm guessing 12000 dollars in damage and I talked to the dealership and they said they would deduct 2000 dollars from the book value because of the carfax. How should I handle this with my insurance company. They refuse to total a 08 caravan with 300 miles. Were just heartbroken and confused.
