Has anyone had an interview at the BRS? If so could you give me a guide as to what type of questions they ask, and what to wear? Should I wear sports clothing or smart clothes? How did you do in the fitness test? And anything else that might help.

Why do jockeys in different countries ride in a different style. British jockeys seem to sit in the saddle and bump around whilst American jockeys don't. Are tighter American tracks the reason or something else?

Can I use scissors on compression tops to cut the neck? Or would the top stretch and rip apart?

Do they digest quickly? It would be a fruit smoothie with possibly peanut butter and weight gain powder.

Can I use weight gain shakes to gain weight? I'm underweight so can I use this to gain weight and sit around doing nothing and being lazy or do I have to work out for it to work? The product i'm thinking of is Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass. Basically the question is do I have to work out for these products to work and make me gain weight?

I'm a 16 year old guy and my body is so small. I'm so embarrassed I don't like taking my jumper off which is a nuisance in this hot weather. I'm going somewhere and it's going to be so hot that I'll have to take my jumper off. The reason I'm embarrassed is because I have 5 inch wrist, 8.5ish inch forearms and 10 inch biceps. I'm 5 feet 5-6 inches tall and I'm a bit underweight. Although I've always had a small frame, this size is embarassing. So what can I do? How much bigger are you whatever age?

If I were to buy a helmet on the internet, should I go for a bigger size? If I have a 58cm head should I go for 60cm or something? Or should I go for my exact head size? I could go to the shops but I'm not bothered as I live far away.

Anabolic steroids increases muscle size and strength(I think) in horses. The heart is a muscle(I think) so will it increase the size of the horse's heart? I've read some people say that it decreases the size of the heart. And are there any other ways that steroids or other drugs affect a racehorse's ability?

All the usual people on here that want to just say don't get a dog DON'T READ FURTHER. I'm not actually getting a dog(i might eventually)but which dog breed can cope better with being alone for 5-8 hours. I know every dog is different and all I want is for anyone answering to name a dog breed which usually copes better than others with being alone. And if and when I get a dog I might adopt or wait until the holidays to get a puppy so don't say adopt etc.

The horse I ride doesn't walk really slow but doesn't go as fast as other horses. How can I make her go faster without getting into a trot? I am a bit of a begginer by the way and I ride English.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup is,i think,over an extended 3 miles 2 furlongs. My question is what does the word extended mean? And another race I saw was over an extended 2 miles. So again what does extended mean?

I'm just wondering what you did on your first riding lesson? I had half an hour and I walked and started trotting on the horse. I did some thing to get balance like taking my feet out of the stirrups and holding my hands up. I also learned a bit about the positions of jumping and how to take the saddle off. Bit as I said what did u do on your first riding lesson?

What do jockeys do with reins throughout a race? Especially at the end with about 2 furlongs to go many jockeys shake reins and wave the about. What are they doing?!!!

My neighbours German sheperd keeps trying to jump over a gate and fence when I pass on my bike or when walking! Is this excitement or is it something dangerous? I think it's excited but I don't really know!!

Is a dirt track in America faster than a turf/grass track in Britain?
