Would a navy blue hand purse with beaded multi -colour sequence go with a dark cranberry pink prom dress?
My prom's coming up but I think i have to go out and get a sliver hand purse to go perfectly with my dress or I have this navy blue one that has a beaded muli-colour sequence in a flower design. Not sure what i should do and what would actually match with my dress which is dark pinkish colour.

1 AnswerHomework Help8 years agoWhat does this ^ symbol mean in this math problem?
Can you please help me understand how to calculate this problem with this ^ symbol in it
P(Right combination on a lock) = 1 / 10^12.
P(All 4 locks correct 1st time) = ( 1 / 10^12 )^4, via the multiplication principle of 4 identical events.
P(All 4 locks correct 2nd time) = (4 C 1) [ 1 - ( 1 / 10^12 )^4 ] ( 1 / 10^12 )^4.
4 C 1 --> 1 out of 4 locks is wrong.
[ 1 - ( 1 / 10^12 )^4 ] --> probability of wrong combination on that lock.
( 1 / 10^12 )^4 --> probability of all 4 locks correct.
P(All 4 locks correct 3rd time) = (4 C 1) [ 1 - ( 1 / 10^12 )^4 ]^2 ( 1 / 10^12 )^4
+ (4 C 2) [ 1 - ( 1 / 10^12 )^4 ]^2 ( 1 / 10^12 )^4.
We have 2 cases:
- Getting a wrong combination on the same lock twice;
- Getting a wrong combination on each occasion on two different locks.
Grandma's probability = (0.3)^2 (0.6) (3!/2!).
(3!/2!) --> 3 teeth of which 2 are identical.
