By profession I am a Chartered Accountant but a computer hobbyist who likes to explore things and learn as much as possible about them. I have been in to computers since I was in 5th grade and have developed some kiddie programs in my school days. Due to my interest in computers, I used volunteer for providing technical support to users online. Yahoo! answers has provided me a great opportunity at one place where I can fulfil my hobby in a most convenient way because chat was some what a pain and forums were not as effective as Yahoo! answers. It pleases me the most when people like my answer and declare it as the "best answer". I am also running a technical support group in the name of "Techno Geeks" at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/techno_geeks I also have blogs at: http://geocities.com/smart031279 http://smart031279.spaces.live.com/ Much of my work can be found using search engines for keyword "smart031279" Thank you for your time to read about me!

  • Institute of Financial Consultant (Canada) or Canadian Association of Certified Consultant?

    Hello guys,

I am a bit confused, my application for membership for above mentioned institutes has been approved by their boards respectively [which I believe are same people by looking at their mailing address].

Their websites are http://www.thecafc.org/ and http://ifconsultants.org/ respectively, the problem is... which one should I go? and why?

Plus are these institutes have good recognition or just fake ones because the easy way they have approved my application without any questioning, other day I received an email from them that my membership for the admittance to the institute(s) have been approved and I pay USD 280/- to certification fee.

    Please guide me!

    Thanks!

  • Diagnosing a breast cancer and mammography for teenage girl?

    Please read and help!

Few years ago, a tumor like thing showed up just under the right breast. It was not painful at that time but with time it became a little bigger (although not too much). It was constantly ignored to lack of careless and no particular reason. Some doctors were consulted and they suggested oral medicines.

Now, this tumor like thing is still there but it has started to pain, sometimes, too much and the worst is that this pain has come to arm as well, i.e. when there is pain in tumor, it also hurts the arm.

A doctor suggested for Mammography but due teenage, he said it is not recommended and Mammograph technician may not perform a Mammograph scan.

For above, I need to know:

    1) should the mammography be done?

    or

    2) are there other alternates like Ultra Sound or MRI scan?

The patient is in Pakistan (Asia) and there is no financial problem. Please advice or any personal experience.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Wat is da best acounting software with integrated modules 4 all functions of a 5 star hotel?Payrol, costing, etc

The hotel has 650 employees with stand alone applications, they are using Micros for costing of restuarants and excel sheets to record expenses to general ledger software using manual vouchers. Simiarly, payroll is also manual which requires one week's working for entering attendance and other data for processing payroll (the chances of errors are also high). Similarly night audits and front office are also manual using Excel on a daily basis, at month end monthly totals are posted to GL.

It is possible that one software be installed with different modules so that daily revenue report, changes in room rates, payroll processing can be fully integrated with minimal use of manual calculations and enabling all reporting to be done electronically (i.e. no print-outs etc).

    Thank you for your time.
