Just a 19 year old conservative atheist looking to give insight. You can most likely find me in the LGBT, Religion and Spirituality, or Politics section here. ~Collect the water, while it rains.~
Why do people think a gay person can’t be Republican?
I see no problem with it.
13 AnswersPolitics2 years agoWhy do people think Islam is a religion of peace?
It clearly isn't...
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy do those against same-sex marriage fail to point out that you don't have to be religious or have kids to be married?
A common argument is that same-sex marriage is against Christianity, and they can't have biological kids. However, there are plenty of non-Christian and non-religious people who are happily married, and there are plenty of adults who are in a childless marriage. Not to mention that gay couples CAN have biological children through surrogacy. Why do people even bother with these arguments when its easy to debunk?

Such as how we refer to Greek and Roman gods as mythology?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhat are some good reasons as to why church and state shouldn't be separated?
Hi Rita again. I have come across a few people, not only on this site, but on other parts of the Internet where people are outright not supporting the separation of church and state, stating that the Christian religion should have a moderate to significant influence in the laws of the United States. This baffles me quite a bit considering many things written in the Bible would not be appropriate or "moral" in today's time. Are there actually reasons as to why church and state shouldn't be separated?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy are younger generations more likely to identify as LGBT?
Many studies report that those from Generation Z or Millenials are less likely to identify as “exclusively heterosexual”, why is this?
11 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender2 years agoWhy should marijuana be legalized?
I’m trying to understand both sides of the argument. I’ve always heard arguments against legalizing it, but not many supporting it.

I'm trying to see if I support the right for a woman to have access to an abortion or not. What are some pros and cons?
8 AnswersPolitics2 years agoWho was Joseph's father?
Hi. Rita here. I have recently come across this contradiction in the Bible, and I am curious as to receive input on this subject. In the Bible, was Joseph's father Jacob (Matthew 1:16) or Heli? (Luke 3:23) Why does there happen to be a discrepancy?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy are atheists typically more left leaning, and Christians typically more right-leaning?
Hi. Rita here. This is something that has been on my mind for quite some time now, and even more so since joining Yahoo Answers. To be clear, I am not saying that all atheists are liberal and all Christians are conservative. I understand that atheists and Christians exist all over the political spectrum. However, I find it mighty clear, especially on this section of Yahoo Answers, that there tends to be polarity in political opinions and association between many atheists and Christians. Why do you think this is?
