So I am trying to print my wedding programs with my HP Officejet Pro 6835. The cardstock I am using is 5.5" x 7.5" when I set the correct margins in word, and rest the width bars on the printers to rest against the card stock it will print everything off to the left, like I'm trying to print on a whole sheet.

When I open the width bars on the printer and slide the paper over, it will alert me there is a paper mismatch error (bc it can obviously detect that the paper is not 8 x 10 but 5.5 x 7.5. What can I do to get to to print center when I use the center feed because it clearly won't let me feed it through the right side.

I am desperate.

This is a very tough situation here. I was divorced (and have lived in for 3 years now) in Michigan, but the child custody case was held in North Carolina where my ex-husband still lives (I think). The ex has not contacted our child in a year and three months now and hasn't seen him in a year and a half and has made no effort. He has not provided us with a current phone number nor address. Also, I should note that he has never paid a bit of child support since it has been ordered amounts up to about $6800 now.

I want to terminate rights because the man who I am engaged to wants to eventually adopt my son and we know this would make it easier. Should I:

Get the child custody case transferred to Michigan and attempt termination?

Attempt to terminate in North Carolina from here?

Problem is, I am so busy right now. I am in nursing school and I work part time.

Do I have enough grounds to go for it? I just want more opinions before I seek legal advice. Please, only people who know what they're talking about. Not someone who is just guessing because I have been looking into this for a while.

Overnight I developed this pain which only shows itself when I am urinating. I have had UTIs before and this is nothing like it. Same goes for yeast infections. My significant other and I are long distance while I finish my degree and he continues serving in the military. I haven't seen him (therefore no sex) since May... anyone have any ideas OTHER THAN go see your doctor??

Finally just turned the heat on today and while I didn't notice it right after I turned it on, I left and came back in and noticed a "sweet" smell. I hadn't lit any candles or anything and it's the first time the place has smelt like this kind of "sweet". Have a Carbon monoxide detector (even tho it's odorless) and that's fine. Any ideas???

Ok so here's the deal. I got my HP net book back in January. Ever since then it crashes on my regularly. I mean like every other day at the least. It's RIDICULOUS!!! Basically, it happens during boot up or shut down. Occasionally during whatever else. I seem to notice that it happens more often if I d/l an update to something or install something new. And I'm talking harmless stuff like a Java update.

I get the blue screen of death and it does a MiniDump or what the heck ever...

Someone please help with this. I don't want to spend the $$ I don't have to take it to a tech. Oh and please... I don't want to hear people's opinions on my brand of computer or whatever. That's useless.

Okay ... so my boyfriend loves heavy metal right? And I want to make him a mixed CD. Problem? I know NOTHING about heavy metal / black metal - whatever. I'm not a huge fan but I really want to do this for him and I need help with band names and songs. I'm not really talking stream line either - like Slayer bc he already has stuff like that. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Okay so my husband has one of the lder models of iPods - 4GB. THe problem? Well all of a sudden when we plugged it into the computer it wouldn't recognize it... neither will iTunes. We have tried several different computers and different USB cables. It will however charge. So basically I just can't change the music on it. Resetting it wouldn't work either. I was just wondering if there is anyway we can fix this - I'm not close to an Apple store and I don't really want to send it in. Ideas? Thanks!!

Okay so I'm looking for a song for my "First Dance" This will literally be OUR first dance so it really means a lot. I want a song that isn't one of the usual First Dance songs... I kinda wanna be like - Oh that song? I never thought of that. At the same time, I want it to be meaningful and touching - something that will make me cry ;)

My son will be turning one on Dec 21. It's so close to Christmas that I'm worried people will try to do the "one for two" things with his presents. I think it's unfair for other kids get two sets of presents and my son only get one because of the date of his birthday which is something he cannot control.

So, how would I let people know in a polite and respectful way that I don't think it's okay to do that?

Also, do you think since he is only going to be one that getting him about 2 presents for his birthday and 4 for x-mas is enough??

Okay so last night I had a crazy dream that I was being (in so many words) haunted. I was watching TV with a friend and something kept turning the channel. You know how ya just know what things are in dreams even though they may not be that clear in real life? Well, I just know that's what it was. So I woke up that morning scared shitless. My heart was racing for some reason. I looked at the clock and it was 3 am. (They say that is the witching hour)... then not 5 minutes later my 9 mo old son wakes up screaming. Any help hear... I'm kinda freaked out.

-Good shade (I live in sunny San Diego and would like something that covers my son well)

-Good steering

-Good quality

-Not part of a travel system

So my son is about 5 mos old and used to play real well by himself when laid on the floor or put in a toy etc. but lately, the moment I set him down and walk away he gets sooo cranky, whiny and pissy. Unless you're in his face he starts to whine.

Why is he doing this and what can I do to keep him happy enough to entertain himself without picking him up? I don't exactly want to let him just sit there and wimper.

And please don't give me any of those answers that are common sense - yes his diaper is changed, no he's not hungry - you know that kinda thing.

PS The sitter doesn't hold him all day (She has 2 other babies and just doens't have the time for that) so that's not where my problem lies. Nor is he teething he already has his bottom two and I know what he acts like when he has teeth coming in.

So I made E-5 off the September 07 exam and made last inc. When should I be getting paid E-5? I thought it was supposed to be the first of this month but when I checked my LES - it still said E-4 pay...

Currently I'm in the Navy and stationed in San Diego, CA. As of right now I am a resident of Michigan but will be moving to North Carolina. Is there a way to become a resident before I actually live there?

Are there any diet supplements that are safe to take while breastfeeding?

I breastfeed my son but also pump and let my boyfriend feed him out of a bottle on weekend mornings so I can sleep in a bit. I also plan on pumping and having my child care provider feed my son my breast milk from a bottle. My question is about how many oz should my son be eating (so as to not overfeed/waste)? He is 2 1/2 weeks now and will be about 7 weeks when I go back to work.

I understand that every child is different, I'm just looking for a base line. Thank you!
