I've always been a very avid reader. Especially as a child. Almost every week, we paid a visit to the library and I would pick at least ten books and then go home and devour them. I read almost anything I could get my hands on. As I got older, reading became less natural for me. I was getting bored easily and after I finished books, I was not left feeling satisfied. Instead, it would leave me with a thirst for another book that I could truly enjoy. So I became obsessed with finding a book that would finally satisfy me. I read Percy Jackson. Harry Potter. Everything. But nothing really worked. That's my first problem.

Second problem- This is a problem that came much later. I was talking with my friend about how much better books were than movies. She talked about how in her head, certain books play out like movies. I can visualize pretty well when I read, but not very well. I can't visualize faces and the books almost never play out like a movie. Everything is a blur of colors and grass and tress, but nothing is ever vivid. There must be something I can do.

I can write very well, but I feel I will never be able to enjoy books as much as others do :(

I sung a performance for a group of people yesterday! My friend is now copying me and saying she wants to be a singer! Shes getting a voice lesson teacher and singing all the time. :( It is incredibly annoying. EveryBODY copies me and I'm soooo sick of it!! People often buy pieces of clothing that I wear just because I wore it. She is really good at drawing. Why doesn't she just stick to that instead?? I never copy her and do exactly what she does.

I've wanted to be singer for a long time. I noticed that there aren't very many dark skinned singers in the industry that make it far. Im not as dark as Alek Wek but I'm not light at ALL! I'm a shade or two darker than kellly rowland. does this really even matter at all? will this affect my dream? because comments people have made about my dream such as, "you'll never make it cause you're burnt" or "you look like poo" have made me feel worthless. what do yall think? please dont be insensitive!

Please dont be rude. But it seems that the media prefers light-skinned black girls like Halle Berry and Beyonce instead of darker skinned girls! It just struck me a while ago, how I rarely ever see a dark-skinned black girl on commercials or shows. In some places there are no black girls at all! This is sending such a horrible message to black girls and this is super unfair! Has anyone else noticed this?

My puppy is about 14 months old and I was wondering how much blue buffalo I should feed her now, she's about 65lbs.

We have been using the crate ever since we got the dog! And I've noticed we've started to rely on the crate for too much. She's rarely out of it, she eats and she goes potty and then she's back in the crate. It is extremely cold around here (-21 degrees celsuis)! and I do not understand what to do with her, she is constantly pooping on the treadmill which is our only source of exercise in this weather. Any ideas? Also any ideas for special vaccuums to use for extreme shedding. Its a golden retriever ;)

I think my dog has little respect for me. Every time I let her free, she assumes we're playing chase, and runs and jumps all over the place, I will have to call people to help me catch her. She usually gets a 45 minute bike ride. She doesn't listen to the commands I taught her. What I am asking is how do I correct her?? So she will care, what I say. When I firmly tell her NO, she stops for a second and then repeats. Especially when I call her to come.

My trainer said to give her 30 mins of treadmill, but she continuously poops on it!!

My big sister and I never really got along, but when we both took an interest in dogs and convinced my parents to get us a puppy we began to be nice to each other. When we first got the dog she was SCARED of it, surprisingly, she got over that after 3 months, all the while I had to feed the dog, play with it, walk it, train it, wake up at 3 to take it for a potty (it sounds fun but it's really exhausting). But before we got the dog she promised that it would be 50/50 responsibility for both of us. Now it's like 82/18, I still have to feed her, walk her, and train her and she still has the nerve to tell me i'm not feeding, walking, and training her right. She asks the dog to sit when she's already sitting! She confuses the dog with different commands. And she feeds her a hundred times a day. And she spends only about 15 minutes a day with the dog. I am so fustrated that I trusted her. She is a hypocrite, a liar, she's lazy, selfish, and she probably doesn't even care about the dog that much!! She turned a preteen straight a student into a B- and C+ because I never have any time to study. Don't get me wrong my dog is getting cared for properly but only because someone took the time to care for her.

My parents freaked out at me because I got straight B's and I have to admit I'd been getting way better than that. They keep telling me to study every night. But my school doesn't work that way, the only class I can study notes in is French and science, but math and p.e (which I'm doing HORRIBLE in right now) and shop and L.A, Social and Bible there's nothing to study at home with. I have no clue what to do. also in class when my teacher explains something to the class everyone gets it but me, i usually have to wait until home to explain it to myself a few times. It's really embarrassing when my teacher asks me a question about what he/she has just explained. How can I

I will be playing with my puppy for a while, and then suddenly she will dart off into another room. She does this whenever she's off leash in the house or outside. It is extremely frustrating because I have trouble catching her. I've tried restricting her from the rooms she always runs into, but it seems to be too much of a habit for her already.

Also, where is a safe and fun place to teach a puppy to swim.

How can I get my puppy to stop smelling? I brush her once a day, bathe her once every two weeks and vacuum twice a week. We also switched her dog food to a healthier brand. I have a 5 month old golden retriever puppy that doesn't seem to be growing, i can still carry her and i dont think this is normal, when the vet saw her last month he thought she looked just fine. Her stool is sometimes really watery and today there was some yellow gooey stuff at the end, other times her stool is just a bit loose.

Hi there!!

I have a really cute and friendly puppy who is frightened very easily!

But I want to know how to play with her and what to do with her. Any ideas for games? Not just exercise games but games that interact with her and I, that also develop a bond, because she and I arent the closest.

I also want to know how to socialize her, we live in a quiet neighborhood, not friendly but quiet. Our neighbours dont really talk to us, so how do we get them to come over and meet our puppy, or how to get her to meet other dogs.

Third of all, she has this habit of running away when I try to get near, and it's all so much fun for her

but very annoying for me when I want to go to bed. Or she'll crouch low as if to say "ONE MORE STEP AND YOUR TOAST" and literally pounces on me, is this normal??

Basically I want to know how raise her?

My puppy really needs to get good excercise, but I'm not able to jog and keep up with her energy, we've tried the treadmill and she hated it. It also kept hurting her. Any suggestions? We also dont have enough money to hire a dog walker.

I had a phobia of dogs and everyone kept telling me to get a nice big friendly dog, and that I would love it. So I got a cute puppy that would get big, and I loved it, until the second day, and 2 months later I am scared of it!! No one will take it!!
