Help! I am a pest control technician researching different pest-control companies, trying to decide whether to stick with my current employer or not. I would really like to get some information from as many technicians as possible, who work for various pest control companies.

1. Do you work for a small town company, a nationally known company, or an international co?

2. Does your company pay you a base salary, plus a production percentage? If so, what is your starting production percentage?

3. If you do NOT get paid salary, how is your hourly wage calculated? Are you paid by technician level? (e.g. LVL1 -LVL5). How do you track your hours? By logging into a database? Furthermore, how much do you make (yes I understand it's a personal question on a public forum, but we obviously don't know each other) :)

4. Do you get a company vehicle that you are able to drive home every night?

5. And most importantly, are you required to make sales for your route? I was under the impression we had a full time sales representative for the purpose of making sales, and now we are required to sell in addition to our route, which makes for an extremely busy job.

I recently found out that a relative of mine, around the turn of the 20th century, took his life by drinking carbolic acid. How quickly did it kill him? I don't know how much he drank, but I do know he was found on the ground moaning, and died shortly after that. What does it actually do to the body?

I have a Sony 5.1 Home Theater Surround Sound system. I've had it for a few yrs. Anyway it's never worked properly. It's connected from the Video Card (GeForce GT520) to the Surround Sound via HDMI. Properties shows it only supports 2 channels. How can I get it to recognize all 5 ch? I would greatly appreciate any help!

This is just another reason why I am losing hope for humanity. My friend stopped at a rest-stop along the freeway and when he was heading back to his car after a bathroom break he noticed a some racket going on in a car parked by his. There was a lot of screaming (a woman's voice) and obvious slapping, hitting, punching...it was a man beating on a woman.

He was disturbed by the commotion, he wanted to do something about it, but then he changed his mind and didn't do a thing!! ..he got into his car and drove off!!!

After that happened he felt pretty bad about not intervening. He felt kind of guilty knowing that a chick was getting beat up by her boyfriend/husband/etc..and wishes he would have acted on his gut instinct.

What would you have done...do you think he should have jumped in and stopped the fight, at least tried to anyway?? Or just turn a blind eye to it?

I donated blood and received the donor ID card, but my blood type didn't appear on the donor card like it has in the past. Any possible reason for this?

We're trying to figure out where this lump came from. It is located about 3" below his elbow on the back of his forearm (right side). It has been there for a week now. I squeezed it a few days ago, poked some holes in it, and at that time puss and blood came out -but it didn't fully drain.

Today I tried to squeeze the sucker again, but this time only blood came out. It's about the size of a quarter, but sticks out like a sore thumb! :)

One thing that I'm concerned about is that this lump appeared the day after he gave blood for the 1st time. They had to pull the needle out early because there was a bubble or something going on in his vain. But the needle was placed inside the elbow area (of course), and not on the outside of the arm where the lump is. Coincidence? Or might this have something to do with donating blood? Thanks all!

I have a VERY comfortable bed. I love to lay in it. I sleep so soundly in my bed, but I sleep a lot!!!!! I can sleep for 15 hours straight if my fam lets me. I wonder if the comfort of my bed keeps me in it! Should I make my bed less comfortable? Help!

The posters that are going around that have the black background and pictures that say stuff like: Politicians, what my friends think I do, what my mom thinks I do, what society thinks I do...and so on.?? I'm trying to describe those type of posters with a name. Anyone know?

We purchased our home in Kentucky 2 yrs ago. My husband recently pulled back the siding of our chimney because we heard squirrels coming in and out of the walls. When we pulled the siding back we couldn't believe our eyes! The damage is horrendous! The squirrels have chewed completely through the wood leaving a 4 ft. gaping hole, and more wood continues to erode and chip away each day.

We instantly knew that the damage had to have been accumulating over years, not just since we've been there. The squirrels have only recently been heard nesting for the season, and they have not had enough time to make a mess since we've been monitoring their tracks. We started to remodel the floor in the den that houses the fireplace, and noticed a hole that is also chewed out under the chimney leading into the crawl space under the den. Finally, my husband crawled up into the attick and saw that there had been unscrupulous conduct! THe previous owner had shoved a winter jacket into the hole in the attick where the squirrels had been coming through! This was never disclosed when we purchased the house. Plus it's not the ONLY thing we have found that he OBVIOUSLY covered up!!! Like painting the ceiling in the basement to hide the leak damage from the bathroom above, which was repaired before he sold us the house. There are so many problems that keep popping up, but this chimney issue is the last straw for me! What can I do? Is there a law protecting me from being victimized by this scoundrel? This is clearly a crime. He or the Real estate agent should be responsible for repairing those damages. This is way too big for me to handle.

Any friend can see what I post on another friend's FB even when they are not mutual friends! How do I hide the posts I put on other people's profile but not hide my own status updates?

I hear a lot about people who've filed for the first time homebuyer's credit, but anyone is yet to state they've actually received their refund. How long will this take if we filed it with the 09 taxes? Every return I've had in the past was deposited into my acct. within a week of filing, but with the FTHBC it's taking a LONG time. It's been weeks since I've mailed my taxes and I'm not getting any answers from the IRS.

I'm thinking of a gift exchange, or an ugly sweater party, but will you give me more ideas if you have some? It's this weekend at my place. My house is all decked out!

I hate "sue happy" people, but right now I feel very torn about going to the law about this issue: My son is in the 4th grade and goes to public school. His school was giving out the H1N1 vaccinations last week (during the school day, which is crazy), and I returned a consent form specifically stating that I do NOT give consent for him to to receive the vaccine. Well...you guessed it, they gave it to him anyway. My rights were completely violated, but I'm not sure how far to take it? He could have had a pre-existing condition that may have caused a reaction with a vaccine, but no one checked! We are all lucky he didn't get sick or die from it. But that's not the point...the point is that it was completely ILLEGAL! I feel really sick about this. I called the principal and she contacted the community health nurse who administered the vaccine. That nurse called me and appologized sincerely...but I'm not satisfied. I am not at peace with this yet and don't know where I should go with it. ANYONE???
