old spayed female dog bleeding from vagina?
my Welsh Terrier is a rescue dog, we have had her for approximately 9 years and they predicted her to be 5 / 6 when we got her. just now i noticed that there was a bloody patch on the floor where she had been, and that our male jack russel was licking her down there. she HAS been spayed, before we got her. the last few months she has been drinking a lot of water and going to the back door to be let outside to pee a lot more as well. she has arthritis and often has falls where she cannot get up again without our help. a few months ago we took her to the vet and told him about the frequent drinking and he tested her for diabetes and it came back negative.
having said all of this, she doesnt seem to be in any pain and she is a very very happy dog in a loving home.
any ideas? we love her to bits and are worried! thanks x
7 AnswersDogs6 years agoMy mum can t handle my anxiety?
I m 17 almost 18 and I m a girl. I have generalised anxiety and IBS. My mum is my main stress cause. She doesn t listen, doesn t understand (or try to), has little patience, a very short temper, and gets confused and therefore frustrated easily. She s very difficult to get on with and we argue daily. I m always tired and I get awful headaches. Don t get me wrong, she does so much for me and she loves me, but it s like she s bipolar as she ll just switch and in those moments she ll dig and dig and dig like my anxiety means nothing. She knows I have bad anxiety we ve been to the doctors and I ve had CBT but because she doesn t experience it herself nor understand it, it s like it s not real. I really can t cope anymore. I m on holiday right now with her and my auntie and the other day in the hotel room we had an argument about basically nothing and I started having a panic attack. Her reaction was to hit me. Calm down, you re overreacting was what she was screaming/spitting/shouting at me whilst hitting me quite hard. I don t understand. I think she literally does not know what to do and her short temper means she resorts to being physical. She is not a calm person I can reason with at all. I don t know what to do because it s like a vicious cycle. I get panic attack from our arguments yet I am scared to have a panic attack in case she hurts me yet that fear makes me panic, etc etc. I am exhausted, worried, stressed and sad. What do I do? She needs help

3 AnswersFashion & Accessories7 years agoI am upset by baby cries?
Okay so I absolutely hate baby cries. Not because I find it irritating or annoying as most posts on the Internet say, but because it upsets me. I am not a mother (I'm only 17) but whenever I'm in public and there is a crying baby I get quite distressed and often resort to tears. I can't bear it, it's such a bloodcurdling sound that makes me want to help but I cant. I feel cruel just letting them cry and it sets off my anxiety.
I know that the reason we hate it is evolutionary so that we attend to our babies' needs, but it really upsets me. My next door neighbours have a young baby and its room is next to mine and I often hear it, and I just lay in my bed crying helplessly along with him, haha how pathetic. What can I do to get over it??
I am such a caring person and I am easily upset. I think I will be a good mother in the future because I have a lot of love for others but I am worried that the sound of my baby - especially cos it will be mine so it will be worse! - will upset me to the point of complete distress. What do I do to get over it ?? thankyou x
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby7 years agoA level model photography?
A level photography ideas? My focus is people and expression, perhaps with some fashion incorporated? Ideas I like but don't want to use are: 1. using my models as ballerinas, and 2. the idea that the models are puppets. Anything else similar to this?? Thankyou!xx

1 AnswerOther - Skin & Body7 years agoMy dog has started randomly whining and stops and turns back home on walks...?
So one of my dogs (we have 3) is a Labrador cross with a small dog but we don't know which as she is a rescue dog. We got her when she was about 3 and now she must be about 10.
In the last 4 days she has started whining randomly. She is a very submissive dog and is the type to wag her tail when being told off and lower her head, and when she has been doing this whining and I look at her she lowers her head and looks up at me and wags her tail. She looks distressed.
Me and my mum are starting to get worried now because throughout all the years we've had her she's been a healthy happy dog, never had any health problems at all or anything like that. She doesn't whine all day by the way - just randomly. We could be watching tv and she'll start looking at us and whining like something is wrong. It is not lack of attention because we give all our dogs upmost affection.
Yesterday when my mum left the house to go to the shop, Bubbles (that's my dog) sat by the front door and whined and looked anxious until my mum returned. I doubt this is separation anxiety because she has never ever done this before.
Also, the last 4 days when my mum takes the dogs out for a walk, Bubbles stops at the corner of the road and lowers her head with her ears back and heads back home. She appears scared or anxious. She has always loooved walks, and usually bounds about when she's outside.
Why is she acting like this all of a sudden? I can't think of any changes that could have caused this.
Thanks
2 AnswersDogs7 years agoFaux fur headband for winter?
Hi guys I'm usually pretty good at keeping up with the fashions and I know that last winter (2013) faux fur headbands were in fashion but are they still current?
If you're unsure what I mean:
http://m.topshop.com/mt/www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/pr...
Sorry the link is so long haha. Seeing as it is still on the topshop website I'm guessing people still wear then and I love it but I don't want to buy and wear something that has gone out of fashion.
Thankyouu x
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories7 years agoBTEC level 3 subsidiary diploma? Respected or not?
I know similar questions have been asked but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm going to start my a levels in September and I am taking 3 a level subjects and I'm considering changing the fourth a level to a different subject which happens to be a BTEC. (They don't do the same subject as an a level) It is a BTEC level 3 subsidiary diploma in fashion and clothing which is equivalent to an a level qualification. However, do universities consider these types of BTECs to be equivalent or are they considered an easy option?
The school put me in the class that I want to change from (product design - I hate this!) because my options clashed in terms of time - so would it be a bad decision to change from an a level class in product design which I do not want to be doing to a BTEC level 3 subsidiary diploma in something I love? Some people keep saying that BTECs are a bad idea but if it's level 3 isn't that better?
Would the university I want to go to in a few years time - Leeds uni - frown upon a BTEC level 3?
Please do not comment negatively on the fact that I want to do fashion and clothing because I hope to do fashion marketing at Leeds uni so this BTEC does link to what I want to do at university. I want to become a clothing retail buyer.
I'm confused and irritated so any help is appreciated, thankyou x
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoUni open days?
Okay so I'm almost 17 and about to start A levels at sixth form. I really want to go to University when I've finished my A levels and I'm interested in Leeds University. I know you have to book a place online for their open days but my question is would I be able to go to one of their open days at 16? I really want to have a look around and get a feel of what it's like there to see if it's where I want to go when the time comes, after my A levels.
Please don't say there's no need to visit the uni now because I still have to get through A levels because obviously I am aware of that, I just really want to see what the university is like.
Thanks x
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoMatte black nails?
Hi guys, so I've let my nails breathe for a bit and now it's time to get a new set of acrylics. Matte black nail polish seems to be popular right now and I really like it. But I've never had matte black acrylics before and I'm quite pale. Do you think matte black nail varnish is a no no for pale girls? Will I look washed out?
My second question is if you agree that I should go for it, do you think the colour would look better on square or pointed nails?
Thanks for your help :) x
4 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style7 years agoBig toe bends inwards?
This question has been asked a few times before I know however I can't seem to find much that relates to me. I'm 16 and my toes have been like this since I can remember and it causes me no pain whatsoever I'm just curious about it. Both my big toes are quite chubby and the second toe sits on the skin and part of the nail of the big toe. It's actually turned into my comfort thing haha like I rub my second toe on my big toe lol anyway, I don't have bunions and I have no pain. Is it from wearing shoes too small? I'm not aware that I have done or that I do. Could it be a hereditary thing?
Any help appreciated :)
2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoArm veins?
Why do I love my boyfriend's arm and hand veins so much? I've always had a thing for hands I just love them haha. But what is it about veins ? I don't like big bulgey blue ones haha my boyfriend is black anyway so I can't see the colour of them, but they are raised slightly and I just love the way they run from his arms into his hands ?
2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoMums birthday present?
So it's my mums birthday on Saturday, she's going to be 46. She's very boyish; not feminine AT ALL. Which makes her verrry hard to shop for seeing as I can't buy her clothes or jewelry (I and others have in the past and she doesn't wear them - ever). When I was younger my dad would just buy her things and say they were from me too haha. Now I'm 16 and I want to get her something special. For Mother's Day I made her a canvas of pictures of me on it (that's what she really wanted) but I've asked her whats she wants for her birthday and she can't think of anything. She likes bees, she goes this bee keeping class thing every Sunday. But what could I get her to do with bees haha? She looooves gardening, but over the years we've bought her seeds, plants, equipment etc so that's getting boring now.
Any ideas?! Thanks x
3 AnswersFamily7 years agoCircles and shaking?
Okay so one of my dogs is about 11 and he is a Jack Russell. Ever since he was a puppy he has been walking round in circles. Why is this? He does it constantly. We are used to it but whenever someone comes to my house and sees him walking round in circles they question it and I never have an answer. He doesn't ever chase his tail, just plods round. And it's always to the left. We've tried to make him go to the right but he never ever does.
Also, when standing or sitting, he shakes. He doesn't look like he's in pain, he just quivers. He's a weird dog is general, like he does strange things. But why does he shake? Is it old age? What causes it?
Thankyou :) x
4 AnswersDogs7 years agoShopping alone?
Okay so I'm 16 and about a month ago my mum let me go by myself to another city which was a long train ride away so I could go shopping.
It was great and I bought loads of nice things :) I loved it because there were no distractions like my mum or friends wanting to leave a shop before I did or go into another shop or need the toilet or get my attention to look at things they had picked up. I could concentrate and it made it a lot less stressful and easier.
Since then, I've been shopping a few times in towns near me and again enjoyed it. I was telling my friends about how much I loved it and they said it was weird and that they'd never go shopping alone. I was surprised haha. I was also slightly embarrassed, should I be? Is shopping alone, especially as a teenager who is supposed to be really social, considered strange?
Any feedback is appreciated :) x
5 AnswersFriends7 years agoDream interpretation?
Okay so I often dream that I'm naked, what does that mean? But it's not embarrassing it's like I find it normal and everyone else finds it normal, although they're clothed?
Also I dream a lot and most of them involve this small red gift bag with something in it (I don't really know what's inside) that I carry around with me, and my aim is always to give it to my boyfriend. But I always lose it, and my dreams are made up of me searching for this tiny red gift bag. What the hell is that about haha? These dreams get really stressful and I never find the red bag.
Also, I wake up with really bad muscle tension every morning - probably due to bad sleeping position and daytime stress but can nighttime stress play a part?
I'm just curious about it all really :) thankss
3 AnswersDream Interpretation7 years agoPhysiotherapy?
Okay so I'm 16 and I have anxiety problems, mainly social anxiety because I just fear that people are judging all the time and stuff and I get stressed really easily which has caused major muscle tension, resulting in neck, shoulder and back pain during the last year. It has got progressively worse and so my doctor referred me to a physiotherapist. My appointment is in a couple of weeks but I've never been before. My question is, is there any advice you'd give me when going? I'm a bit nervous about it (I get nervous about everything haha) and i don't really know what the process consists of. Will they help me with the mental side of it like getting over my nerves and worries or is it purely just poking my muscles? Because I think that physical relief helps but it's only momentary, then the pain comes back. I need help with my thought strategy for the physical pain to go away, if you see where I'm coming from.
Just reassure me please and give any advice :) thank you x
2 AnswersPsychology7 years agoInterior design?
I'm going into sixth form and I'm taking graphic design, English literature and language, ICT and photography. I'm considering interior design as a career choice, with my A-level options do you think this is possible and a good idea? Also do you know the average that interior designers earn? I've heard it isn't much. Do you think it would be possible to do interior design as a sideline / second job? And then perhaps graphic design or photography as my main job? Or vice versa?
Obviously I won't be making the decision any time soon but help and suggestions would be appreciated :) , thanks x
