I really want to be Muslim but I'm scared of my parents.?
My parents don't have a religion, but I had Muslim, catholic and Hindu roots. I discovered that I really liked the sound of Islam and that it already fitted with what I had previously thought about everything. The only thing is that when I decided I was 13. I know it seems very young and a lot of bad things happened with my parents which made me go quiet about Islam afterwards. But it's been over a year and I still feel drawn to the religion and I still feel as though this is what I want to be. If they ever found out they would kill me. What do I do, I want to be Muslim but I'm scared of what would happen if I tell them again?

10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoHow do I make my parents realise that I really want to convert to Islam?
I was born in a family where my parents weren't religious but their parents were. One side are Hindu and one side are Catholic. When I was 12 I was exposed to a lot more in the world and I started to create my own opinions around religion. By this time I had a huge amount of religious friends and I always felt that something was missing so I decided to look, and found that Islam made the most sense to me. So I took my shahada in secret and I started to follow the rules of Islam. After a few months my school got involved in this issue and told my parents. They were very distraught and confused although I tried to explain to them. It settled down a bit and they think that I am off the subject now but I still believe and I don't know what to do about this. Please comment your suggestions as to what I should do?
