are there any companies other than Bathfitters to line a tub and shower enclosure?
I would like to get a bathfitter-type liner over my tub and a one-piece enclosure covering the ratty tile that is there. I want to take off the shower doors and use a curtain. Are there companies other than Bathfitter, or are they the only game in town? I DON'T want to do this myself, and I don't want seams. I would like to get a variety of estimates.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoanimated film with aliens, one singing RESPECT, looks like Aretha Franklin. Yoda and Darth Vader arm wrestle.?
I just saw this at a festival and want to find it to show my friends who didn't go. It was titled something like, chompers or choppers or chomp-chomps. One little alien was fantasizing karaoke success and kept getting thrown out of the club. Anyone know how to find this?
2 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agowind/solar power in Boston?
I have a lot of plants in one room of my apartment, and I want to get some more. I have 17 full-spectrum lightbulbs that equal 40 or 60 watt light of typical bulbs while using 13 or 17 watts of power (they have the spiral shape, I can't think of the name). I would like to replace these lamps with a string of 25. Is there any way to get a solar or wind generator that would charge a battery to run these lights 12-14 hours per day? I am on a hill, so there is plenty of sun in summer, and a good amount of wind year-round.
Thanks!

3 AnswersEngineering1 decade agowhat kinds of plastic are safe to grow food in? ?
I want to grow lettuce in my home this winter. I have seen people grow food in things that were not made for the purpose ( office paper trays, bureau drawers, food service containers, white construction buckets). I know some plastics can leak dangerous chemicals into water, especially if they get scratched. I need shallow, lightweight containers with no holes. I might need to drill holes in some containers, and use others for liners.
Any ideas? Thanks for helping.

How do these products help your teeth in a way that foods with calcium don't? Are there any drawbacks to using them? Could they 'encapsulate' a cavity?
Thank you!

8 AnswersFirst Aid1 decade agoknow this book? crime noir and all the characters are candy and/or stuffed animals.?
I saw this on the new book shelf at the library within the past 2 years. The male author had written other books but this was his first set in this alternate universe. I wrote the title and author down and promptly lost the note.
Thanks for helping.
3 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoDo you know this book? It's first-person memoir with recipes, by an unnamed narrator who is a sociopath.?
I read this last year and forgot to write down the author or title. I think it was written in the mid-ninties by a journalist in New York, and was his first novel. The narrator tells of framing his nanny for theft, pushing a family employee under a train, killing his parents with a gas leak that explodes when they get home, and killing his elder brother who was a noted sculptor. A big part of the book was his interview by a honeymooning couple who is more interested in his brother, and he poisons them with mushrooms. It was a great book! Thanks for helping!
