Can I still drive my car? It overheats if I have the air conditioner on. Will it make it another month to six weeks until I get my first paycheck and have proof of employment to buy a new one? How bad is this? What does this really mean?

What is the level of dress for a Quinceanera party? The Quinceanera is pretty formal so what should the expectations be for the dress of the guests. What should the invitations say? How should it be approached when people ask (other 15 year olds especially)?

We are complete novices but she is a natural beauty and talent. She is in acting classes and music lessons and used to do dance and gymnastics and could easily start back up she also used to do modeling when she was little and we know she will need coaches and dresses and hair and makeup and all that but how do we get started where do we look what will we need. Where to shop for the dresses the hair, the bathing suits. What kind of sports wear etc. to be competitive being new to it what to expect. I don't want to get there and stick out like a sore thumb. Are there any good internet sites that show good costumes, wigs, and dresses that would help us.

How do they support themselves with only one parent that works?

Wendy's added all these new Frostys and we have been debating which is the best for a while. I still like the original chocolate Frosty and I like to dip my fries and my cheeseburger (plain only) in it. What do you think and why?

I love to cook soup. What are some of your favorite soup recipes. I have two children so nothing too outrageous but they will try new things up to a point. I like to experiment but it is nice to know what other people like sometimes rather than just out of a book:)

By Emotional Bullying I mean things like, starting awful rumors out of thin air, excluding girls to the point of isolating them, sending around hate "Emily" petitions, forming hate "Emily" Clubs, and using code words for a certain girl to signal other girls to start picking on her. Why do girls do this to each other. What motivates them and what makes them follow that leader? Why do teachers either not notice or ignore this even though the target is very emotionally damaged? What is your take on "mean girls" and their emotional bullying?

Just been doing lots of volunteer work with lots of tweens and teens lately in the schools and seen it up close and personal lately and found it very disturbing!

I have a 7 year old son who loves Halloween's lighter side. He wants to be a "couch potato" for one of his costumes this year. (we do 3 we are a big Halloween family!) I am not a seamstress by any means. Any ideas for material, how to make a realistic looking potato etc. would be helpful!

What he wants is a smallish couch attached to the back of a big potato suit that he will wear so I am thinking YIKES this is gonna be a tough one!

Ok so we have girls who are 12 years old who want to emulate some of the high school girls looking way too old and sexy, not knowing anything really about why they are looking this way and not responding to us adults of course because they are at that egocentric stage of development when the world revolves around them and they are always right.

It is very important that they have their right to express themselves and do that through their clothing if they so choose, however my concern, and that of their parents is that their clothing is sending the wrong message.

The girls go to a small non traditional not-for-profit private school with emphasis on arts and humanities. There is no dress code and never has been. Students are encouraged to express themselves from day one. My own daughter is in third grade has dark purple streaks in her pixie cut dark brown hair, and a nose piercing (adorable).

Any real suggestions would be helpful!
