A co-worker told me a law past last year that lets workers carry cell phones under some natural disaster law that states people who are trapped, from earthquake rubble for example, can use their phone to call for help and be tracked with GPS.

I googled and googled and could not find anything on the topic, much less an answer.

For months now, the wallpaper on my win7 system changes from the rotation setting I have coming out of my pictures folder... to a specific wallpaper on every start up and doesn't rotate.

I start up my pc, it changes to this same wallpaper, and doesn't change.

I change the settings back to rotate through my pictures folder and the next time I restart it does it again.

I've scanned multiple times for malware and viruses and my pc is clean.

I've tried deleting the ini file information and renaming the wallpaper file to _old, and it just does it again.

What else can I try?

Back during the time when Toonami first aired Dragon Ball Z, the voices used during the time were the best.

Now all I can find are the new voice overs that really suck. Okay they don't suck to new viewers, but to oldies like me - all I can think of are those old voices.

Example: During the Goku vs Napa episodes when Goku does Kaioken on Napa's back - Napa falls by Vegita and says, "Vegita, take 'em down for me."

Krillin says, "Wow, Goku. You really hurt that guy. I think I heard him crying for his mommy."

I have this older Kyocera Brio and the only way I could get pictures off it and on my PC is by emailing them to me.

I bought a USB transfer cable for it, and it fits, but nothing happens on my PC side. No driver installation, recognition, etc.

Is this phone incompatible with the USB transfer function or am I not doing something?

I've been trying to research and find videos and tutorials but I either find a half outlet tutorial, or a outlet switch combo terminal...

I got an outlet and I got a switch.

The two are going in the same box.

I want the outlet to be constant.

I want the switch to be independent for one light.

Been looking and looking. I even googled it different ways but find nothing. Am I doing something wrong here? I thought you could buy anything on Ebay.

I have Astro's A40 headset and when I'm trying to record speech, the mic doesn't record unless I talk at a certain decibel. The problem is that it cuts in about .3 seconds into my first word. That's not very good if I want to, let's say, record a song.

I've looked on google several times and of course prowled the Astro website FAQ but can't find anything about this issue. I have Windows 7 and can't find any kind of setting that will disable this feature. I'm out of patience and so I ask the yahoo community and cross my fingers for answers.

I got a laptop. If I plug in an Ethernet cable to it and plug the other end of the cable into a pc without wifi ability, will it get usable internet? I don't think it will, but I want a few other opinions.

I'm writing a research paper in college about Jerusalem and I would like to find information on the geography of the land. I want to find things like the land mass the city rests on, its pollution index, surrounding structures, surrounding vegetation and other similar things.

I've done my own research of course, but all I keep finding is information about the war over the last ten years. I've used various databases, googles, etc. I'd appreciate any thing - even a point in the right direction.

I'm writing a persuasive paper for college and I'm taking information from an abstract that has these and many other of these kinds of numbers. I've googled everything I can think of to find the answer on my own. I asked my dad and brother! I can't figure out if r = rate or something else, or if p = percentage or something else. I also need to be able to dumb these numbers down into simple percentages that the average high school student can grasp.

When you got to youtube on the LG Neon phone, you can't watch videos. A exclamation point appears telling you that it is an unsupported media type. I got this phone because the AT&T sales clerk told me it would let me watch youtube- it was the one thing I wanted from a phone.

I'm hoping there is some update method I just don't know about that will let me watch videos. Any information from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

OK, years ago but I don't think further back than 2000 was a movie being advertised about a guy who is an excellent driver. He drove both straight and crooked people around but was known among the underground as "The Driver" since he had amazing driving skills.

Now this actor in my head was bald I believe with a chiseled face. large cheek bones that reminded me of a bull dog.

In the movie he is, I think, double crossed by some clients and is determined to get revenge on them and the movie revolves around him driving incredibly as he chases down the people who double crossed him.

I want to see this movie but I can't find it no matter what I try. I've been up and down google.

Lately Youtube has been being really annoying. The page takes a long time to load with my cable internet and when it does, it's a complete mess. All the links are there but it's strewn all over the place.

Now what is the deal? Is it them? How long has this been? Is it a fault on my end?

I use Youtube for a lot of my projects so it's getting bothersome.

When you start up computers, all the programs are trying to start up at the same time and it takes every resource the computer has making it sluggish at the startup.

Is there a way to make the programs start up in a specific order?

Like, this one starts, only after this one has finished loading completely.

Or maybe put a numerical value to each one, making the computer wait till the value ends to start the next program. This I'm talking about is not the system programs, but installed programs like Skype, Yahoo Messenger, and that sort of thing.

I'm interested in getting to know a woman who doesn't have to be smart, but does need to be around 22-30 years old. Doesn't need to be a good cook. Doesn't need to be super thin, but not over 180 pounds. Should have common sense- it would be nice if she doesn't repeatedly try to touch a hot burner. (joke) This is important, she needs to be single!

Hmm, open mind, understanding, doesn't make too many assumptions without knowing details, considers herself beautiful, doesn't do drugs illegally, doesn't have an addiction to alcohol, has moral standards, doesn't need a man but would like one, brings unique personality to the fore.
