Today, my doctor called to tell me that, after testing a swab sample from my bum, I have MRSA. She has perscribed anit-biotics but, I want to know if, since the infection is on my bum, if I should be careful of close contact with other people. Like, should I not kiss my boyfriend? Should I make it a point to cover my mouth?

I know these questions sound silly but, my doctor didn't give me any answers. She just told me to look it up on the internet. Great doctor, huh?

Anyway, any information you have would be very helpful.

Ps. I also have Chron's disease and am on immuno-supressants.
