I work in a bank as a teller. I have worked there for a month now and the manager told me to start making refers out to customers for other bank products. Meaning, I need to see if a customers would like to hear about other things the bank could do for them.

Ex: Customers has only a checking account, would you like to hear about how a saving account could benefit you? Or if the customer has a saving account, would they like to upgrade their account to money market saving account? Would you like to hear about our new credit card? Etc.

The problem is, many customers don't speak good English or understand what I say to them. Most of them just want to do their transaction and leave.

I can speak another language but those customers hardly come to the bank. The customers that do speak English I hardly ever get a refer out of them either. It just soooo hard to make a refer!

I don't need the customer to accept the product either, I just need them to go over and listen to a person tell them about how that product could help them. But getting a person to listen is so hard to do.

My manager almost always asks me now, how many refers did I get that day? I say none most of the time and she always as why? I tell her that most the customers don't want to hear it, or don't want it, or whatever reason it is.

Do you think I will get fired soon? My manager tells me a few times that one of my job duties is to be able to refers. I have a quote I need to meet too and I know I won't meet it.

I don't see myself able to meet their refer quote ever. :(

I got into a car accident with another car a few days ago. It was my fault. I contacted my insurance company and they had me go to their body shop to get an estimate. Now the adjustor wants to come over next week to take a look at the car and talk to me.

I looked at the days that the body shop wants to keep and repair my car: it's 4 days! That's way too long. My friend and I looked at my car and he said he can fix it in less than 1 hour and that the body shop is putting too much labor hours in and too much unnecessary parts/paint to fix it. That the just want to get as much money out of them as possible.

Example, my lights work perfectly and there's are tiny little scratches on them. I don't care if it has scratches because they still work. But, they want to replace the whole thing and buy new parts and install them. Really? Really?

My question is, when the adjustor comes, can I just tell her I need my car and I can't not do without it for 4 days. Can I just get the money to repair it? That my friend will repair my car.

I never bought gas from 7-Eleven wondering if they have the same quality as 76 gas?

I was going around my route picking up bottles and cans in trashcans when a security guard told me I can't do it anymore. This was "outside a shopping plaza" and said that it's private property and next time he would call the cops if I do it again.

I thought this was strange as I seen other people do this too and he only stopped me.

Now I'm thinking, it takes me only a few seconds go through the trash can and I usually leave after that. I figure the cops don't really care about this as stuff. It's only get maybe a few empty bottles. Maybe 3 if I'm lucky.

Also, even if they do come, I'm long gone by now. Because it's not like I would just stick around waiting for them or something. I got my few cans already. lol.

Can they be next to each other or they are not allowed to be next to each other? Just wondering.

Seems like gas prices just keep dropping for a long time now. My friend says it will stop at July 4? Anyone think so too?

I'm looking to rent this vacant property in this plaza for a store. The leasing agent said the size is 1212 square feet and base rent is $2.65 per square feet.

If I times those two numbers together would that be a monthly charge or annual charge?

Also, she said the CAM was $0.60 per square foot.

When I plug in my iphone 3GS into a wall charger, I get a message saying "his accessory is not supported".

I just want the phone to charge and it does. But, I don't know if it normally takes 10 to 15 minutes to charge 1%? Is that normal?

Probably going to take 10 hours or more for it to fully charge that way.

I was walking to my friend house and was waiting for him outside. I saw a half rip off lottery scratcher on the floor and I picked it up. I had nothing to do so I looked at the ticket while waiting for my friend outside.

There was only the bottom half and I looked at it for awhile. Then, I realized it was a winner ticket for $15.

Can I cash it in without the top half? I don't really gambling so I don't know.

I'm not sure if I've having a major case of heartburn or something else. It started yesterday night and I was sleeping and suddenly my heart felt like there was something stabbing it from inside. My heart would race suddenly and stop and race suddenly again and stop. I've been feeling like this all day today but mostly after a meal...like few hours later. So, just wondering if this was something serious or heartburn.

I bought a DVD Player from Target at full price, $30, 2 weeks ago. This week I see they are selling the player on sale for $24.

Would you take back the player and re-buy it at the lower price?

I'm not sure what I have but my throat hurts when I eat and drink HOT stuff. It feels like it's pinching and burning feeling. Cold and warm drinks are okay.

I'm not sick at all. Only my throat hurts. It's strange that it only hurts on the right side or my neck and not at all on the left. It's been like this for a week now.

I had this pimple on my butt for over a year. It never popped and now it hard as a rock. It's very ignore to me.

It feels like there something underneath the skin and that's need to be taken out. I can see there a bump on top.

Hi, I have flat feet and over pronate. I bought an orthotics, but not sure what is better.

Is it better to just insert my orthotics into the shoe or take out the original shoe insert and just use the orthotic only?

Also, should I buy a new shoes? The shoes I currently have is 1 inch bigger than what I normally wear and they are kind of feel loose sometimes. I bought the shoes before I found out I had flat feet and all.

I been having knees problem lately. Both my knees hurt inside on the inner side of my legs when I stand up and walk. Also, when I drive it hurts to push to the paddles.

My chiropractor tells me that I have Flat Feet and wants to have me wear Orthotics. He says that should solve the problem.

Does having flat feet really cause my knees to hurt on the inner sides of legs?

My left achilles tendon hurt for awhile and so I tried not to put any pressure on it. Then, I started using my right leg and limping on my right knee for about week.

Now, I have really painful knee pain. I research a little and I think it's a Meniscus injury. I feel the pain mostly when stand and walk. The pain is inside the center of the knee and it feel like the two bones in my knee are rubbing against each other.

Should I go to a doctor or wait it out? It's been a while and it feels slightly better, but maybe because I haven't been moving much or standing.

I'm 28yrs old and I never like eating fish or seafood all my life.

I some how manage to get another job after all this time, but my wrists still hurts. It only been 2 days and I don't know what to do? I went to the doc and he give me ibuprofen but it doesn't help too much. Also, I wear wrists brace but they seemed to do more damage to my wrists then good.

What should I do?

My last job was back in March and it's October now. I couldn't find anything for over 6 months now. I heard HR people won't even look at resumes past 6 months. Should I still apply for work?

Also, I had a major gap before my last job in March, where it was a year and a half long.
