  • Interior color choices for my house...?

I'm trying to get some ideas for interior colors in my house. I have a very open floor plan, in which 400 of the 440 sq. feet of the first floor of my house is only separated by a oak/pine bar that is half the width of the floor. Either way, I don't know how to go about painting the place, whether I should paint the front half (living area) one color and paint the other half (kitchen/dining) another color, but feel that it would look thrown together and not-so-good. The walls are white with green window/door trim, oak hardwood floors, oak staircase (you get the picture). I want a change, but would like some other opinions on what would go well with all of this. Thanks!

  • 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 Transmission Issues?

I bought a 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 about a year ago, it now has only 49,500 miles on it. It has the 6.0L V8 and 4L80 transmission. When I'm heading down the road at 55 or 60, it drives great and runs great, but it seems like it just doesn't want to stay in overdrive. It'll sit in OD until about 65, then it'll go into 4th gear and won't come back into OD unless I either come to a complete stop and go again, or shut the truck off, start it back up and go again...then it's the same story over and over again. I've had the transmission flushed and filled twice, thinking that maybe one of the valves might be clogged, but that isn't the case I guess. I'm going to try some Lucas transmission treatment and see what happens, but the truck has never towed anything in its life...Any suggestions?

  • My camera has issues...blurry spot on any picture that I take, what is it?

I have an older Sony digital camera that was working great up until a few months ago...it takes decent pictures for what I do with it, but now it has a blurry spot on it, and I'm assuming it's the lens. In whatever picture I take, the right side of the photo is blurry...What can I use to effectively clean the lens of my camera, or if you have any suggestions about why it's doing this, please let me know. Thanks!

  • My CD Drive isn't working right...?

I have an Acer Aspire 3000 that has been fantastic for the last three years, so this is the first issue I've seen since new. It'll burn CD's through iTunes but not through the other burning program that came on the computer, and it won't read CDs or DVD's or even computer games and I don't know why. Anyone have a clue??? Thanks.

  • Stains on a White-ish Jacket?

Hi there. I have a Karbon ski jacket that is almost white but not quite. If it was white I guess I'd just bleach it, but I'm a bit clueless on this subject. I rubbed up against my truck when I was sweeping the snow off of it and stained it, and then I must have rubbed up against something greasy another time and have black/brown stains on the sleeves and stuff. I tried washing it (Karbon jackets have a special washing procedure) but it didn't do much. Does anyone know what I can use to get rid of the stains? I might try Shout but I don't know. Any help is appreciated!

  • Runway Incursions - What's going on??

    Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of finding a good school to train for my pilot's license and have a question (there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers, right?). All throughout the news, I've been hearing about "near-misses" or a near-runway incursion, the latest being at Baltimore-Washington, where they said that two planes missed each other by 300 feet. Now, 300 feet seems like an alright barrier if I consider that planes probably come closer to each other when one is landing and another is "holding short" of the runway for take-off, right? I'm unsure, but what is going on with all of this stuff, and why is it happening so much? What causes it? Pilot inattention?

I'm looking to buy a GM Factory Navigation head unit for my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado LT3 (Factory Bose System AM/FM/CD/Cassette, steering wheel controls, NON-XM Radio) and the part number given to me is 10377531. Does anyone know if that part number will work with my truck? If not, can anyone provide me with the part numbers that WILL work? Any and all help is appreciated, best answer will be chosen. Thanks!

  • 2004 Chevy Silverado Issues - Anyone?

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado LT w/ power, heated leather seats. The problem is the fact that although the passengers side power seat works, the heated seat on that side doesn't, and nothing works on the drivers power seat...no movement, no heat, nothing. Anyone ever see this problem? How about how to fix it? Any help is appreciated!

  • Problems with my 2004 Chevy Silverado - Anyone Else?

I have a gorgeous 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LT3 with the 5.3, NON Z-71, due to the Manual Selectable Ride Control. It has what they call the Z package, which includes the larger tires, skid plates and so on, but not the big shocks due to the ride control shocks. Now, onto the problems.

I lost the transmission at 58,000 miles, and it was third gear that I lost first, which is strange. The shocks are $300 apiece! I've replaced two of those. My speedometer just stopped working, and now my power seats don't work. The heated seats on both sides don't work, and the power seat doesn't work on my side, but the passenger side power seat works fine. What's up with that? This has been a horror story for me since I bought it. I've put wheel bearings and axle seals throughout the truck, brakes and rotors twice, U joints, pitman arm and drag link, and misc. other things, to the tune of $4,000, and the truck is mint! Any advice? it has 77,000 miles on it.
