it happened once ages ago and i was in the house on my own like i heard some man coming into the house and up the stairs and i could proper hear it clearly and then it was so hard to open my eyes. but now its happened again and it was just a normal night and i was awake and first i could hear the radio on full blast and it was so clear and i could definitely hear it then i heard a conversation between people didn't recognise the voices. i keep hearing knocks on my bedroom door and the door opens and i am sure i heard it but then i can't open my eyes but when i do nothing is there? what can i do to stop this/what is this? i am so tired but i cant sleep or i will keep hearing things thanks

i had a throat infection and went to the doctors and they just told me take paracetamol and drink plenty of fluids. a day or two later i woke up at 5am and couldn't sleep cos i had the most excrutiatingly painful earache..went to the doctors and they just gave me some ear drops which don't do anything because it is a virus. it is so painful and the doctor's aren't open on the weekend. they wont give me antibiotics.....what do i do please help!!! i have been taking ibuprofen every 4 hours for the past 2/3 days but i dont want to carry on taking it so much as i know youre not meant to.

How do you solve 'x^2 + 4x + 6 = 12' giving your answers in SURD FORM!

I used -b +- (sqrt)b^2-4ac(sqrt) / 2a

with a = 1 b = 4 c = 6

and got -4 +- sqrt of -8 / 2

but i think this is wrong as i dont know if you can have a square root of a minus number?

the answer is -2 +- (sqrt)10(sqrt)

but i dont know how u get that

I am 16 and I've had psoriasis for around 5 months now and it is just getting worse. I have tried everything for (steroid) creams for the doctor, basic moisturisers, acupuncture, dead sea salts in my bath.. EVERYTHING! & Nothing is working, it just keeps getting worse. I am trying UV light treatment next week which will hopefully help but please please please help me! It's all over my face and I get 'What's happened to your face' and I have to wear scarves, jumpers, jeans and hats because it is all over my scalp too! Any ideas?! I have tried cutting out junk food and alcohol etc... but doesn't seem to help. PLEASE HELP?!
