I know everything. Just ask me.

  • How many men does it take to open a beer?

None. It should have been opened when it was brought to him.

  • Why do illegals use "illiteracy" to have half the store in their grocery cart?

EVERYONE knows that the aisles on the end are supposed to have a max of twenty (the signs even say VEINTE) items. Where does the sense of entitlement come from?

  • What are legal immigrants' feelings about illegal immigrants?

I believe that illegal immigrants are criminals, and I was born a US citizen. However, I have the utmost respect for immigrants that took the time (and money) to legally gain their citizenship the correct way. If there are any legal immigrants on this board, how does legislation like the Dream Act (amnesty for illegals) and illegal immigrants make you feel? Do you think they're lazy? Criminals? What are your opinions?

  • My coffee mug holder broke?

I have an older computer that still gets the job done. I'm hesitant to get a new one because this one has all my family pictures and important documents on it. The problem I'm having though is that my coffee mug holder doesn't open anymore? It started making what sounded sorta like high-pitch grinding noises a couple of days ago when I pressed the opener, and now doesn't come open at all. Any suggestions?

  • I'm too good at my job to get promoted?

I work in the IT industry of a nation-wide corporate medical provider. I have also worked in smaller call centers. My resume is impressive, and I have management and shift lead experience. I left my last job after 2 years as shift lead, because they would not hire me to the open call center manager position. When I spoke with the owner, he told me it was because I was "too valuable on the phones." So now, at my new job, a network engineer opportunity opened, and that's what my degree is in. When I applied for the position, I spoke with the help desk manager and he told me that he'd love to help me progress in my career, but my ticket-completed volume is too high for him to move me off of the phones, and that I was too good to let move right now. I can't get a manager position anywhere else, because I can never get a manager position where I'm at...what am I doing wrong by being so good at my job? Suggestions on what I could do to improve my career path?
