Can anyone really get a grant? Is there a 4 sure way to get a grant?

Is there anyone who knows how to get a grant that's not a business that can help find grants? There are lots of co's that offer help I tried but found they take my money and I wasn't any closer to getting a grant.Is what I am asking just impossible? They say there are funds that the government has to give away in the form of grants that never have to be repaid. Lets get this conversation going. I would consider a partner to see if this can be done?

I have a dish/wild blue connection there is a modem and I have a wireless router my main computer is directly connected to the dish my laptop goes on line ok its wireless. there is no blinking computer icon in my tool bar and I an unable to get it going thru network connections HELP?

Built new computer loaded all the software and OS to machine working great windows xp pro. I installed a modem loaded drivers off disk that came with there was a free spyware option on the disk figured hay why not give it a try. WRONG restart computer only to find its stuck in a loop there is an error message and then it goes into reboot and will continue to do so over and over system will not respond. What do I do now?

I think the hard drive is the problem 120gb western recon I bought at flee mkt the case is an old e machine case all the parts are new. mb pc chips g29 with 366celleron and 1 gig mem cmos checks out. Signal out not happening when its mounted in the case...help now what thinking I need a better case too
