I have tired to donate blood 2 times since October. They have not let me donate because I had a false positive test for syphilis in October with the blood I tried to donate. They retested my blood in January and April and it still gets the same result. I have donated blood 3 times before and that has never happened. What are the odds that the test is wrong or the facility that is testing it is wrong? 3 false positives is ALOT!!!

Do evil spirits make you sick sometime?

Some take Buddhism as religion, but it is more a philosophy from my understanding. So is it a philosophy or religion? Is it possible to be a Christian who follows some of the philosophy of Buddhism without contradicting your Christian belief? So could a person be filled with the Holy Spirit and love God with all their heart and know that Jesus is the way but still seem to agree with Buddhist teachings when it comes to peace and inner peace? Can a person do both as long as they know what they believe to be the TRUTH? I don't mean worshipping Buddha who did not claim to be God. From my understanding Buddha taught a way of self-knowledge so can a person be a practicing Christian and be a partial Buddhist at the same time when it comes to philosophy and way of life as long as it doesn't contradict their Christian character and belief?

Does anyone think the church has disregarded the Spirit? Does anyone else know of the many "believers" who follow Christ but disregard that supernatural spiritual gifts still exist in the church? I know of people who have these gifts, but disregard them or do not believe that the Holy Spirit still works in those ways. What do you think?

I believe that the body of believers is not much better than they were in Paul's day. We have corruption in the body of believers. We have people who use church as their social hour and don't take sermons to heart. We have people who are so-called "Christians" and they are treating people worse than some athiests do. Some athiests have morals better than some Christians. Some Christians don't understand that grace is given freely, but it is all the more reason to celebrate the grace of God. They take his grace and sacrifice for granted. Does anyone out there see what I see, or am I alone in this battle?

I'm positive I have the spiritual gift of discernment. I've always been able to sense things. I get vibes from strong Christians, it's like their eyes are shining, it's hard to explain. I can tell if the Christian is a phony or still searching. I have been in public places where I have had to leave because I have felt darkness. I have also felt emptiness when I was in one church. Within a couple of minutes I can tell if I can trust a person and know if we are going to click. I also know when a friend needs me who I've haven't spoken to for a while sometimes I can tell when people NEED to talk about spiritual battles or issues. So with all that said. Who else has the gift of discernment? I feel like I am a fruitcake because I have this and I love this ability, I just want to know there are others who understand.

I am a freshman range and wildlife major at Texas A & M University - Kingsville. I have had various experiences in the field and am looking for a job or internship in the wildlife, agriculture, natural resources, range, agronomy, or other closely related field with biology, botany, zoology, fisheries, basically anything with natural resources for this summer. I would like to know if anyone knows of any jobs or internships available or need help themselves with that sort of work?

I have been working out at Curves for the past year and a half. I have been getting my heart rate up to 85% and then they tell me that if I get it up higher than 85% and I have recently done 90-95% that it is burning muscle and fat and burning muscle is bad. So sometimes they tell me to slow down, but I don't want to slow down and need to get in better shape. They also tell me that if I work out more than 30 minutes a day it might be hurtng me instead of helping me. Is that true? My Curves workout is usually 40 minutes a day with my heart rate between 85-95%, but I am not feeling challenged anymore. Could someone please tell me what I should do to tone and lose weight. P.S. -In the past 2 weeks I have lost 4 lbs and 3.5 inches, but know it could be better. HELP!!!!!!! Does anyone have any advice I am confused??
