I didn't die obviously, but I had these flu-like symptoms for a few hours and now I just feel exhausted and numb. Do these symptoms go away over time or am i stuck like this?

Like, if you're intoxicated well that make your reading inaccurate? Will it alter the connection between you and the psychic?

I drive an '07 Toyota Camry and my steering wheel feels a bit loose. Lately I have to turn it a lot more than usual to get my wheels to turn. I read on another website that the steering rack may be worn and has to be replaced. How much would it cost to do this, and what other causes might be making the steering wheel loose?

I've been seeing a guy on and off for about 4 months. When things are good, they're really good, but there have been issues in our relationship that I'm starting to think can't be fixed. We've split and then gotten back together twice, and we've only gotten back together because I'm lonely and willing to overlook our problems. I'm trying to be mature and walk away from this for real.

I agree that gender is a social construct, but if that's the case why not focus our efforts on changing what a man can be and what a woman can be instead of giving new outlets? For instance, if you feel you're a woman because of your femininity but have male organs, why not be a really effeminate male? Why can't we work to make the possibilities of being a certain gender more broad?

People have told me gender and gender expression is different. That you can be a transman but act effeminate anyway, because its not about being masculine, its about being male. Well than what does being male really mean then, and why feel so determined to seperate it from sex if you can have whatever personality you want regardless of your organs? Someone please explain, because I still don't understand.

Every now and then I get really epic nosebleeds. When I try to stop them, I cover my nose with a tissue and normally wait a few minutes before taking it out. I've found when I do this though, when I pull the tissue out, there's this long mucous-y stringy glob of blood that comes out after it. Now my nose isn't runny when it bleeds so I don't think its snot mixing with the blood. What's happening?

The teachers are the ones who actually write the assignments and grade them. How do schools monitor their teachers to make sure they're giving students the grades they deserve? The way I see it, I could give a kid an F just because I didn't like him, but I could tell the school he just wasn't measuring up. Who's to stop me? That's my question.

The other day I hooked up with this guy I met through a mutual friend. I slept over at his house. The next day when he drove me back to my apartment he would point out guys on the street he thought were attractive. It didn't bother me so much that he was checking out other guys so much as the fact that those other guys were grossly unattractive. If hes into those types of guys, does that mean I'm ugly?

I just started my freshman year at college, and, with a few rare exceptions, almost everyone is incredibly attractive or good-looking. I find this intimidating because I've never considered myself handsome or felt that others see me that way. This makes me really anxious when I go to social events or classes because I feel like the odd one out. I get along with everyone but I just don't feel like I fit. There will be times when I'll have a crush on one of my classmates and realize I can't have him because there are better options. How do I bring myself to feel confident or at least less anxious about where I'm at?

Today I had to go into a lab for a lipid test so they could check my cholesterol level. They had to take a sample of my blood. The pinprick of the needle they used did not scare me, but I had a very severe reaction following the prick that incapacitated me momentarily. My body started to get very hot, I was nauseous, I felt like I might throw up and pass out, and I felt very floaty.

Again, this happened after the prick of the needle, not leading up to it. I've also had this experience when getting vaccines or giving other blood samples. Is this my fear of needles resulting in a delayed panic attack? Or is it a different kind of reaction or fear entirely?

I'm curious - how can public schools legally require their students to sign a contract stating they agree to the terms of the school's code of conduct? How are public places allowed to have their own private policies? That doesn't sound constitutional.

Like, can you control what your hallucinations manifest as? For example, if I wanted to see a kaleidoscope on my ceiling, could I will it into happening, or does it just happen without my control?

I find myself feeling more depressed than I've ever felt. Therapy has done nothing to solve my problem. I've been to two therapists and neither of them can figure out what's wrong. I also can't think of what's actually triggered my depression. A lot of the things that upset me are very minute. I've never been raped, never suffered any neglect or child abuse, I have plenty of friends and opportunities for days. I shouldn't be feeling this shitty. And yet I feel as if I've run out of options. What should I be doing? Who should I seek as a resource?

I keep hearing from many people on here that a career in magazine or newspaper journalism is pointless to pursue because many of them will be discontinued due to competition with blogs and news websites. If I landed a job with an online news distributor would it allow me to live comfortably? Trust me, I'm not aiming high as far as salary is concerned, but I really want to have a job writing about current events, because I know I can write well and news interests me. I guess my real question is, what are my options?

I'm looking for something in New England preferably, 1,000-3,000 students, and a reasonable tuition.

I can't afford a tux, and I'm getting mixed opinions from other people on what route I should take. Some people say its acceptable, other people say its bad etiquette. What do you guys think?
