We're considering cutting down on expenses by getting rid of our cable tv connection and getting netflix on all of our tvs instead. Is the selection good enough to entertain a 7 year old, a few teenage girls, and a mom?

I don't know where I should be, or what I should be doing, or who I should be.

I'm female, 18 going on 19 soon and getting older day by day. I'm having this weird crisis 'cause I feel like I'm not doing enough. I know my long term goals but I've got this short-lived youth and I just don't know what to do with it, how to fill the empty spaces of time. That's why they say youth is wasted on the young.

It should be easy for me to go out and have fun, living in Los Angeles is something I don't take for granted. But when you're on the edge all the time with social anxiety and a lack of conversational skills you're just so concentrated on other people and can't appreciate places unless you're alone. But then you're lonely.

I need someone to kick me from my slumber and tell me how to stop wasting my days. How to make friends and memories. I'm an introvert. When I am finally out and about I can't savor it. All I can do is watch the clock and the calendar and feel a sense of waste waste waste...help?

I'm really into The Doors, and I'm 15 years old.

Obviously it would be impossible for me to have a chance to see them live. Back in October, i saw Ray and Robby (keyboardist and guitarist of The Doors) live with a different drummer and a different singer, and i enjoyed the show just as well. Even though Jim wasn't there, and it wasn't 1969, i sang every song and felt the powerful lyrics give me chills. I miss that feeling. There's this band called "Wild Child", a tribute band for The Doors, that's playing in Hollywood in a few weeks. I would like to see them...but i don't want to end up with regret when i'm there.

What's your opinion on tribute bands in general?

And to fans of The Doors, do you think these guys would be worth seeing?

This is going to sound just a tad ridiculous.

It feels like everywhere i turn, religion is randomly being forced into my head.

It's been happening for a few months now. Very spontaneous occurrences of what seems to be inmyface signs. It started with this lady at the park that my friend and i met. She was Korean. Even though we couldn't understand each other's language, she was so intent on making us understand the bible. Then my uncle, who i haven't seen in years, gave me a little booklet that was an explanation of the bible. He's a priest. Then another priest gave me a weird look when i was walking by an open church. I'm seeing crosses everywhere. And then i found out that my school crush is extremely and passionately religious...

Am i being paranoid, or are all of these signs that i should visit church? I haven't been in one for a while. A lot has happened in my life since then. And the closest religion that I've stood by is Buddhism. I've always seen Christianity as overrated. Should i attempt to strengthen my relationship with God?

I live in a place where finding a decent guy

is like finding a diamond among a bunch of rocks...in a river...at night. Or so it seems.

I just moved here. Now that I've found this guy in school, who seems to shine brighter than the rest and has caught me in pure infatuation with him...i don't know how to approach him. He's such a beautiful guy...i write poetry all the time. I've written things about him that i think he would never suspect were in my mind. I've never talked to him in my entire life. But we have made eye contact on several occasions.

I think it's the mysterious lingering vibe he gives off that gets to me...it's been bugging me for weeks. Now, i have two days left of school until the next year. Tell me.

HELP ME, please...how do i talk to this boy? What can i say or do to have him remember me over winter break? We're right next to each other ALL THE TIME yet it seems we're both shy and see eachother as unapproachable. What should i do?

Then there's Family Guy...one of the shows has a scene where Peter is narrarating his own life, my guess is that he starts flowing into stream-of-consciousness mode when he says "Lois had always been filled of energy and life but lately I had become to grow more aware of her aging. The bright exuberant eyes......" (and so on)

So, love is probably something that just IS.

I've had this feeling before.

But that was different, we were in each other's presence.

What exactly...is love? In your view/perspective?

a destination,

a chemical reaction,

a place in life...

How can you be in love with a person that broke your heart more than once, yet unknowingly? How can you be rest assured that you still have this feeling of...love?

How do you know if you have lost it or found it?

Personality-wise? Does it mean...not being so thoughtful and dreamy, and "in the clouds", which would be the fair opposite of being on earth?

Does it mean being totally realistic with your views on life? Because i enjoy looking much further into the universe than just having earth-bound limitations with my views...

Does this make me...not down-to-earth?

I'm told being down-to-earth is an attractive personality trait...

It's the middle of the year. July, and i need a heart shaped box. Do you think maybe i could find one in an arts & crafts store like "Michael's"?Don't ask why i need it...

Just curious, we were talking about this in health class.

You sign some papers, and then when you die (instead of being buried or cremated) your body (or whatever parts you choose to donate) get sent to scientists to study o_o

Maybe it's just me, i find it creepy to imagine my dead body being studied by all of these doctors while my spirit is (hopefully) elsewhere...

and being moved. I was still...but it felt so real.

It was more demonic than anything. hahaa...

Yours doesn't have to be creepy-weird, it could be talking inanimate objects for all i care. I love having those dreams where it feels like you're on LSD or something...
