2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling9 years agoWhere are my browser stored passwords located on my hdd?
Here's the deal. My boot sectors got corrupted on my laptops hard drive. I cannot boot my machine. I have stored all my passwords in my browsers (firefox, IE, Chrome). Instead of manually resetting them via email (which would take forever!) I pulled my hdd and hooked it up via a usb transfer cable. Now, I just need to know where to find the passwords. I can't seem to locate the lists. Thanks for your help.

2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoFile path on C drive for finding event viewer using usb adapter.?
I need to view the event logs from a HDD I pulled from a non working computer running Vista.
Normally you would click through "Control Panel\System and Maintenance\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer" to view the logs. But, since I'm using an USB adapter connected to the HDD to retrieve the files. I can't seem to find the logs. Can you point my in the right direction to find these files?
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agocomputer event logs? where at?
I have a dell desktop that shut down due to a "thermal event". Something must have been damaged because It won't come out of standby. My question is : Is there an error event log I can get off the hard drive (with my usb adaptor) that will give me some insight to the problem? If so, where would I find it on the hdd? thanks

1 AnswerDesktops1 decade agoBuilding a computer help with temp sensors placement Lian li tr5?
So I just built my first super computer. Everything is awesome.
The only thing I didn't figure out is where to put the thermal sensors from the lian li thermometer tr5.
Do I plug the fans into it INSTEAD of plugging them into the motherboard? And where/how do I place the thermal sensors?
for example: Do I have to take off the cpu cooler and place the sensor between it and cpu? I don't really want to do that. could I mount it to the side of the cpu. And what do I use to fasten the sensors? I have some little stickers left over. But, I don't remember what part they came with. I think it was this part. I've searched the net to no advail. and the instructions that came with it are useless. a link to a video would be awesome. Thanks
