what did he mean by that. I thought "huh" meant "i dont get it" can someone help me. And i dont understand what "though" means here either. was that a blow off?

I've known this guy for about 2 years now. We dated off & on but remainded friends. Not close friends but we would keep coming back into my life. Recently he came back into my life again and we had set up kinda a date. But it was very weird & my mind was elsewhere because that morning I had gotten news that they found a tumor in my brain, its benign (not cancerous) but it was all I could think about. I didn't want to tell him & burden him or bring the night down so I didn't but as a result I acted kinda distant & weird.

He told me to text him when i got home safe. So I left a short message saying I got home safe & sorry it was a weird night, I had received not great medical news and that's why I was acting strange. He texted me back wanting to know what happened so I told him & he seemed understanding his initial text was "Holy ****. How did they find that? Were you getting bad headaches or something? Oh my god" I told him it can be shrunk with medication & they say it will be fine but it was just a really big shock" He responded "**** Yeah, you're just a kid. Hell, Im prolly dying but i dont have the insurance or money to get checked out if I wanted" I said I wanted to tell you that night why my mind was eleswhere but I didnt want to burden you to which he said "Yeah I understand that's a tough thing to talk about" He'd still like to see me again & we said we'd meet up sometime this week but I just worry that now he thinks of me as damaged or will be scared off.

Say if the guy has told you he's liked you for a long time (8 mos). You two established a mutual attraction but he gets nervous & shy around you & clams up. Yet he shows his interest by staring or smiling. While at work, in a conversation would it be showing too much interest & pressuring him if I say "dont be a stranger" in a cute friendly way. Would you take it as the girl is "chasing" you or is it a great, low pressure slow way of nudging the guy and giving him permission to pursue. GUYS how would you perceive that phrase?

I just started dating a guy he's really sweet, sensitive and caring so far not very aggressive. we're in the early phases of dating but he told me he doesn't have any straight male friends. what do you think it says about his personality? I'll ask him eventually but I kinda want others opinions. We have a mutual friend, he's gay...and he originally told me this but assured me the guy im dating is straight.

Bumped into this guy I used to date breifly (we never had sex). He was ending his shift, saw me and caught up with me on his bike (surprised me) and stopped to talk to me, minutes into the convo he invited me to go to this free show in the east village. We wound up spending 8 hours walking & talking. During the show he hugged me from behind and rocked me back and forth in his arms (very sweetly, not groping) Held my hand as we walked. We had deep conversations and LAUGHED A LOT, he kissed me a bunch of different times during the night. Kissed me on the forehead, cheeks, lips. Held me for a few minutes before we parted. Said "Im so glad I ran into you, tonight was amazing. I was thinking about also going to this cafe but i thought that would be overkill" he kissed me again Get home safe sweety and smiled.

Anyway. Minutes after he left me he writes on his facebook wall "I love this city and my life!!!!!!!" about 4 days after that I post something about wanting to see harry potter and he comments on it saying "I want to see it too! Have to work the next 2 nights though...damn!" 5 days after that I decided to text him "How was your weekend" He seemed excited to hear from me in his answer. we text a little then I say " Thanks for last week btw had fun :)" he writes back "It was nice, right? Let's try to see eachother soon" I say "Yeah definitely. I'd like that steve"

Did he actually mean that or did he just feel obligated to say it and how come he didnt say ok how bout this week or next week? Did i read the date all wrong? Should I suggest a time..i dont want to push it

I met up with this guy for the first time for drinks, we're both in our late 20's. The conversation was ok, with a few exceptions. He asked or mentioned that he likes to have sex with the lights on and doesnt like it dark. For a first date you're telling me this?! I thought it odd. He asked if I looked good in a bikini and if i was confident in a bikini. (again...topics for the first meeting?) Then later he mentioned that next time I see him it would be ok to where something a little slutty or sexy with high heels, that he's not one of those men who doesnt like his girl to dress sexy. And im not sure how the hell we got on this subject but somehow he managed to bring up the fact he's had sex in public places and he asked me if i had. Is it normal to be a little offended by those comments?

(i didnt see it til the next afternoon cause my phone died then i respond)

Him: "That was really hot by the way. I cant stop thinking about you "

Me: "Well we might have to do something bout that..."

But that was a week ago. He texts me today "Hey sexy lady" why did he wait an entire week? I didnt hear from him for a week, should i even respond...what do you even say to that?
