  • Can Someone Help Me Understand this: Jamaican Slang i think?

Someone posted on facebook "La vida es mucho mejor cuando se comparte" (life is better when shared) but then a friend commented underneath saying "Punany" and the person who's status it was responded "Ja man. Respect" to which the friend replied "Seen, Rude Bwoyyyyyy from da ghetto."

  • Men: Do you like it if a girl says you're a good kisser?

Do you think its cheesy or sexy. Say a woman you used to date who you(the man) have recently contacted & wanted to start things up again. She texts you one night

Her: Wanna know something fun I'm wondering right now?

    You: sure

Her: wondering if you're still a good a kisser...

  • Men: Would you think any less of her or be scared off?

I've known this guy for about 2 years now. We dated off & on but remainded friends. Not close friends but we would keep coming back into my life. Recently he came back into my life again and we had set up kinda a date. But it was very weird & my mind was elsewhere because that morning I had gotten news that they found a tumor in my brain, its benign (not cancerous) but it was all I could think about. I didn't want to tell him & burden him or bring the night down so I didn't but as a result I acted kinda distant & weird.

He told me to text him when i got home safe. So I left a short message saying I got home safe & sorry it was a weird night, I had received not great medical news and that's why I was acting strange. He texted me back wanting to know what happened so I told him & he seemed understanding his initial text was "Holy ****. How did they find that? Were you getting bad headaches or something? Oh my god" I told him it can be shrunk with medication & they say it will be fine but it was just a really big shock" He responded "**** Yeah, you're just a kid. Hell, Im prolly dying but i dont have the insurance or money to get checked out if I wanted" I said I wanted to tell you that night why my mind was eleswhere but I didnt want to burden you to which he said "Yeah I understand that's a tough thing to talk about" He'd still like to see me again & we said we'd meet up sometime this week but I just worry that now he thinks of me as damaged or will be scared off.

He called me back wanting to know what happened so I told him & he seemed really understanding & caring, asked me questions. He'd still like to see me again and we;re meeting next week. But I feel bad for telling him & then again I felt bad for not telling him. I dont want to be a burden to him but at the same time he's my friend and I dont want to keep that from him.

  • Men: Is saying "Dont be a stranger" coming on too strong?

Say if the guy has told you he's liked you for a long time (8 mos). You two established a mutual attraction but he gets nervous & shy around you & clams up. Yet he shows his interest by staring or smiling. While at work, in a conversation would it be showing too much interest & pressuring him if I say "dont be a stranger" in a cute friendly way. Would you take it as the girl is "chasing" you or is it a great, low pressure slow way of nudging the guy and giving him permission to pursue. GUYS how would you perceive that phrase?

  • Why does he only like to hangout with Gays?

I just started dating a guy he's really sweet, sensitive and caring so far not very aggressive. we're in the early phases of dating but he told me he doesn't have any straight male friends. He hasn't found any he likes, he thinks they're all douche bags. He said he hates hitting on chicks at bars and hate the way straight men go about doing this. He likes hanging with gays and/or women

what do you think it says about his personality? I'll ask him eventually but I kinda want others opinions. We have a mutual friend, he's gay...and he originally told me this but assured me the guy im dating is straight.

  • Men when you text this do you mean it?

Bumped into this guy I used to date breifly (we never had sex). He was ending his shift, saw me and caught up with me on his bike (surprised me) and stopped to talk to me, minutes into the convo he invited me to go to this free show in the east village. We wound up spending 8 hours walking & talking. During the show he hugged me from behind and rocked me back and forth in his arms (very sweetly, not groping) Held my hand as we walked. We had deep conversations and LAUGHED A LOT, he kissed me a bunch of different times during the night. Kissed me on the forehead, cheeks, lips. Held me for a few minutes before we parted. Said "Im so glad I ran into you, tonight was amazing. I was thinking about also going to this cafe but i thought that would be overkill" he kissed me again Get home safe sweety and smiled.

Anyway. Minutes after he left me he writes on his facebook wall "I love this city and my life!!!!!!!" about 4 days after that I post something about wanting to see harry potter and he comments on it saying "I want to see it too! Have to work the next 2 nights though...damn!" 5 days after that I decided to text him "How was your weekend" He seemed excited to hear from me in his answer. we text a little then I say " Thanks for last week btw had fun :)" he writes back "It was nice, right? Let's try to see eachother soon" I say "Yeah definitely. I'd like that steve"

Did he actually mean that or did he just feel obligated to say it and how come he didnt say ok how bout this week or next week? Did i read the date all wrong? Should I suggest a time..i dont want to push it

  • Is this normal? Or is ok for me to be a little offended?

I met up with this guy for the first time for drinks, we're both in our late 20's. The conversation was ok, with a few exceptions. He asked or mentioned that he likes to have sex with the lights on and doesnt like it dark. For a first date you're telling me this?! I thought it odd. He asked if I looked good in a bikini and if i was confident in a bikini. (again...topics for the first meeting?) Then later he mentioned that next time I see him it would be ok to where something a little slutty or sexy with high heels, that he's not one of those men who doesnt like his girl to dress sexy. And im not sure how the hell we got on this subject but somehow he managed to bring up the fact he's had sex in public places and he asked me if i had. Is it normal to be a little offended by those comments?

  • Why do guys text you then ignore your response?

And please don't say that he was just bored because I know he likes me, he was incredibly persistent and a week ago he texted that he'd like to see me again and can't stop thinking about me.

He texted me Friday night just to say hi and see how I'm doing...Im filming a movie and we didn't wrap til 5am so I didn't get his text til later the next day. So I wrote "Hi Dan! How's it going" then I sent "srry bout the delay. I've been filming a movie and keep missing texts" But that was 2 days ago and he never replied? I need a male's perspective here why text me then ignore me. Thanks

Which is german for Hello! :) Again I was filming a movie and it didnt wrap til 5am. So I didnt see the text til the next afternoon. I wrote back "Haha...Hoi Dave! How's it going?" then right after i sent "srry bout the delay. Ive been filming a movie and keep missing texts" So far no response and that was yesterday afternoon?! He's a teacher and its the weekend...what's going on? Is he mad at me? Did I sound way too eager?

  • Why did he wait a week to contact me again?

I met this guy at a friend's gathering. I did not like him or his attitude at first and I let him know that loud and clear but he continued to hit on me and pursue me. We I pretty much shot him down multiple times and any and all advances he made on me. But as the night went on he got to me and i noticed this intense chemistry btwn us and later we wound up heavily making out.

He says goodbye with a huge, long passionate kiss and says we should do this again soon.

An hour after we left eachother he texts

Him: "That was so much fun and we should do that again soon"

(i didnt see it til the next afternoon cause my phone died then i respond)

    Me: "Yes it was ;)"

Him: "Shall we continue what we started at some point?"

    Me: "Yes...at some point"

Him: "That was really hot by the way. I cant stop thinking about you "

Me: "Well we might have to do something bout that..."

But that was a week ago. He texts me today "Hey sexy lady" why did he wait an entire week? I didnt hear from him for a week, should i even respond...what do you even say to that?
