Im filing out a w4 form for a new job and I'm having trouble figuring out whether the unempolyment benefits I received for 2 months (and that I've had taxed) would counts as an "exempt"... whatever that means.

I made a caramel sauce with both brown and white sugar. I added butter after the sugar browned in 2 minutes then I added the milk. It naturally bubbles then it's supposed to smooth out but this batch kept bubbling and the sugar seized and separated. My question is, was it because I used milk and not cream?

Almost all online applications have a 'pre employment test' that costs you 30 -65 minutes of your time. They all say that your answers DO NOT affect the company's decision on hiring you. As soon as you're done with your final question and click Submit, instantly you get a message in your email saying that you are not what they're looking for.

My questions are, Do pre-employment tests really screen out all the 'bad' employees? Are there any statistics out there that prove that these tests work?

I've always had a heavy period that lasted 10 days. Recently, I've been using an antibiotic that isn't supposed to interfere with my cycle. A week ago my cycle started and it lasted for three days then stopped. I never used birth control and I haven't been sexually active for a year. Any ideas on what's going on?

I'm trying to find a way to make homemade frosting, but all recipes i looked up they all say to put in a mixer or use a handmixer. I have neither of those but I do have a blender.

If I use a blender will the frosting come out a different way or the same?

I was thinking of basting a pork roast with hoisin sauce just to switch it up from just regular bbq sauce. Does hoisin sauce change in flavor during roasting or does it stay the same?

I want to make some risotto but I don't have the risottoo rice to do it. But I do have just regular rice, will it stilll come out just as good?

I know the pros but not much about the cons, what questions can I ask about the cons of advance directive/living will?

My roommate and I moved into this apartment that has been around since the 70's and when we first started living there we have had some incidents with the pipes. They were literally were falling apart because they were so old.

Now, over the year we have been using the same shower, we noticed our skin has been getting drier and our hair has been breaking off at a very fast pace. My friend believed it is the bad plumbing, ever since she heard about it on t.v.

Can bad pipes cause hair and skin to be damaged over time?

I'm starting my freshman year in college my friend thought it would be funny to buy me a 20 lb bag of soybeans from Brazil as a (very bad) joke. Why did he do this you ask? I was 'came clean' to him that I was vegetarian when he 'caught me' eating a soy burger.
