guy i have been dating for some time now... love the guy, but it has been two years since he graduated with his bachelors degree and he still cant find a job in his field. he is a wonderful guy to me, respects me, and there is nothing wrong with him, but should i leave him if he cannot get a job in his field? what should i do? he applies everyday (i know for a fact he isnt lying to me), but i want to give up and I dont know what to do... what should he do with in the next few months? he has kind of a game plan, but if i seriously have not met him he wouldnt be where he is today (he admitted to me). so im lost... any thoughts?

i have been dating this guy for a while and i love everything about him. the way he smiles, how he treats me, and he and i have alot of the same likes and dislikes. one problem though. my family members think that i could do better cuz he isnt the best looking. they think that he has really bad acne, he doesnt have the right build, and i should go after someone in the hospital who is better looking, has a ton of money, and is better off. i have even a few of my family members jump in and give their opinion when i didnt ask for it and they question "why does a pretty girl end up with him? hes ugly. if she ever marries him they would have ugly children." well guys... i like his personality. yeah i could marry for money, but money doesnt always make people happy. i trust my parents opinion and my family wouldnt steer me wrong, but most of them havent even met the guy. this is very frustrating to me and i dont know what to do. this guy has treated me with such kindness, been there for me when times have been tough, and i pushed him away before.... but he has come back and he wants me. I really want to continue dating him, but i feel very lost and confused. any advice please?

I have been with this guy for a little while. He has graduated with a GIS degree and is still looking for a job in his field. thing is.. he has been out of school for almost 2 yrs. At the age of 24... i know he should be established in his life. his own place, his own career. unfortunately this isnt the case, but he is still working incredibly hard to find a job in his field whenever he has the free time and isnt working full-time at his other job. I have been told to not see him anymore. he is the one guy that has treated me with respect, makes me smile, and i am comfortably myself around him.they no longer want me to see him simply because he doesnt have a job he got a degree for. so, any thoughts?

I have been dating this 23 year old guy for almost 3 months. happiest that i have been in a long time. He treats me well, i enjoy his company, i like where our relationship is going, and to top it off I think he is personally attractive. I was simply sitting down in the library waiting for my next class when Tyler (guy that i see often when im working here on campus) just popped out of no where and took a seat next to me. I know him from when im on duty tutoring, but we have no classes together. Well instead of studying before my class we ended up talking for about 2 hours. we talked about anything and everything. we were laughing, having a great time. a little bit later his buddy ends up finding him in the library and invited him to go out. before tyler left he handed me his name and number on a piece of paper and said "you should text me sometime." i quick look him up on FB and a little while later tyler finds me again in the library. he friend requests me and then we end up talking some more. now... he and i talked just yesterday. i havent heard from him since... he also has my cell number ( i was messing with his phone infront of him and just put it in). now is he interested in me? he gave me his number. it has only been a day... i dont want to be played for a fool. what should i do? should i wait for him to contact me?

I have had a crush on this guy named Trevor for a while. trevor is this shy, sweet, computer tech guy who works with me on campus. here is the thing. he has this "romantic" relationship with a girl named Kaytlyn. they arent having sex, but both Kaytlyn and her friends have told me what they do (spend the night at his place, hold hands, kiss, etc.). she has a crush on him too, but he said that he doesnt want a relationship right now. last night he and i were bored so we went to his place to watch a few movies. it ended up getting late and he asked if i wanted to spend the night. i said sure. one thing lead to another and we were flirting alot and i said that i had a crush on him and i know the situation between him and kaytlyn. he said that im cute and sweet. he said not to tell kaytlyn about me being there for fear of hurting her. i said shes going to find out eventually... he doesnt like to hurt people. i said that i dont want to be used... he said that he doesnt use people. he leans in and kisses me sweetly. we didnt make out, didnt do anything much after that. he held me in his arms and we fell asleep. now what do you think about this situation guys? do you think that he will change his mind about a relationship? what should i do?

My "friend" from Missouri is traveling next week by car all the way here to Michigan just to see me and spend time with me for a whole weekend. it is perfect timing cuz we dont have to deal with college midterms plus its been a couple of years since high school since we have seen each other. He says he wants me to show him around Michigan, show him the campus, etc....... but it doesnt mean anything else does it? we have been skyping and facebook messaging since February this year...... i just dont want to read to far into things. either way it still be fun hanging out with him.

I am 19 yrs old and over my high school/ now in college years i have multiple relationships that have gone horribly wrong. I pick the cute ones, but in the end they end up to be jerks. I get pushed to fast into situations that i am not comfortable with and then they break up with me. Right now, yes, i am busy with college life, work, and i am stressed. I can admit i have some flaws, but no one is perfect and i learned from my failed relationships what to do and what not to do. But recently with as many failed attempts to start a relationship i feel like there is no point in dating in this time and age. Am I wrong? Any thoughts or advice?

I have been dating this guy for almost 3 weeks. Things started off great, he wanted to spend time with me, i got good morning sunshines from him, and I enjoy spending time with him. well the last time i spent actual time with him was a week ago. rite now we are in our midterm week here in college and all this week he has seemed in a really bad mood and he verbally told me that he felt like crap. I waited and waited and today (the day of the concert) i finally txt him and asked if he's still going. i get "no my brother is sick and im going home for the nite" i was disappointed and said "i was looking forward to spending time with you" he replies back "sorry" and i finally state "thanks for letting me know...". end of convo. so guys... do i sound clingy when i havent seen him all week and looked forward to seeing him after midterms. what should i do? please be dont be brutally honest, but i would like to know if im going in the rite direction because i just started this new relationship with him and I truely do like this guy. He hasnt done anything wrong since we started seeing each other, we already established our limits with one another, and he was the one pursuing me... please help.

ok so there is this guy that i recently started to talk to again. he asked my sis for my cell (we moved back to mi and they kept in contact). well, he wanted to contact he because he wanted to revisit the past. as it turns out he admits that he likes me (wish i knew that earlier). he also says that after grad he is going to move from MO to MI for me. He wants to become a navy SEAL and is willing to do just about anything for me (thats what he claims). well, he would text me for days and compliment me multiple times. just recently he stopped texting me and i have to be the one to text him. he will reply, but not say much. now am i looking to far into it or not? if not, then should i wait for him to text me?

I need someone to be honest with me. Not BRUTALLY honest, but tell me if this relationship is worth the effort. I moved to Missouri my sophomore year of high school and i ended up meeting this boy named *adam. I ended up hooking my friend up with him despite my feelings for him. we have been friends through out my sophomore and junior years in MO. I recently moved back to MI and I havent been keeping in contact with him (except my sister who talks to him every now and then). Just last week he asks my sis for my cell number. he wanted to talk to me randomly. well, as it turns out he wants to date me after we graduate from high school. im hesitating on it because his girl friend is the "friend" i originally hooked them up with. Now, he's still in MO... and im in MI. He says that he is willing to move to MI to make me happy. I didnt force him to say anything... he told me. He wants to become a Navy SEAL and there are some bases here in MI. I ask why now contact me... he wanted to "visit the past" and admitted that he has liked me, but thought i would shoot him down. So is this a relationship that i should try or is he basically bull shitting me? I dont want to waste my time and I dont want to deal with immature people.

ok who is wrong in this situation..... my guy friend named "brian" and i hav been friends since the begining of this year and he has had a major crush on me...... ok... a couple of weeks ago my friend and i were talking when brian snuck up behind me and touched me in a BAD place... he said he was sorry but it felt weird... i said ok and move on, then a group of my friends and i were randomly talking about girls skirts. i say i hate them b/c they're girly, but brain said "No u hate them b/c u cant fill them and u dont hav a a**!" my friends laughed a his "joke" but that hurt my feelings.... i told some adults, he got into serious trouble, and we haven't talked in weeks. on top of that my "friends" r taking his side saying that what i did was wrong... was speaking up 4 myself wrong.. i dont think so.. should i talk to him soon... i want some space still. and r my "friends" really friends,or r they just butting in...remmeber he invated my personal bubble and i was offended by his comment.
