2 AnswersXbox6 years agoWhy hasn't the NAACP come forward to defend the racist attacks on Herman Cain?
Where is Ben Todd and the NAACP? Why does it matter Herman Cain's politcal affiliation? If this truly about the "advancement of color people," then why the silence. I guess it's for the same reason NOW didn't do anything when Srah Palin was attacked.
31 AnswersPolitics10 years agoWhy all the uproar and protests?
Why is there all this uprorar over the recently passed immigration law in Arizona? The law only states that the state of Arizona will now enforce the federal law that is already on the books.

8 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDid anyone notice the rocket?
One of the "tiny" countries launched a rocket into space the other day. Yet, there was no major mention of it on most channels and media outlets?
I'm wondering, how feasable is it to replace the area on the rocket that held the turtles, mouse, and worm, with .....let's say a nuclear device? While we're at it, it possible to aim this "rocket" at an angle other than 90 degree's? I mean instead of shooting it straight up for over 3000 miles, can't they aim it 3000 + miles in ANY direction?
I guess this is Bush's fault ..........too.
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIsn't this simply pathetic?
Many Longhorn fans are saying that, "..if Colt McCoy ahdn't gotten hurt we would have won."
This is a pathetic and embarassing point of view. Football is a team sport and the back-up simply didn't produce.
If the Colt injury argument is valid, I have an equally valid one. IF Donte Hightower had not broken his leg earlier this season, Colt McCoy would have been knocked out instead of just getting an arm-stinger.
IF a gust of wind had blown as Colt tried to throw the ball out of bounds in the BIG-12 Championship, the Longhorns would not have even been in Pasadena.
IF the refs weren't morons, the AGGIES would have beaten the Longhorns; and Texas would have been in the Fiesta Bowl.
Football is a team sport....ONE player got hurt...and the rest of team couldn't cover for him.
3 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhen will the Harry Reid story hit the 6:00 news? Which party is led by racist's now?
The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama's race during the 2008 presidential bid and are quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no ***** dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Obama is the nation's first African-American president.
"I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words. I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African-Americans for my improper comments," Reid said in a statement released after the excerpts were first reported on the Web site of The Atlantic.
"I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama's legislative agenda."
Reid remained neutral during the bitter Democratic primary that became a marathon contest between Obama and then-Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, whom Obama tapped as the United States' top diplomat after the election.
Reid's comments are included in the book, obtained Saturday by The Associated Press and set to be published on Monday. "Game Change" was written by Time Magazine's Mark Halperin and New York magazine's John Heilemann.
The book also says Reid urged Obama to run, perceiving the first-term senator's impatience.
"You're not going to go anyplace here," Reid told Obama of the Senate. "I know that you don't like it, doing what you're doing."
In another section, aides to Republican nominee John McCain described the difficulties they faced with their vice presidential pick, then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Steve Schmidt, a senior member of Sen. John McCain's presidential team, is quoted telling Palin's foreign policy tutors: "You guys have a lot of work to do. She doesn't know anything."
The authors also quote Obama's initial reaction to McCain's selection of a little-known governor: "Wow. Well, I guess she's change."
Vice presidential nominee Joe Biden was direct. "Who's Sarah Palin?" the book quotes the then-senator as asking as they left the nominating convention in Denver.
Reid, facing a tough 2010 re-election bid, needs the White House's help if he wants to keep his seat. Obama's administration has dispatched officials on dozens of trips to buoy his bid and Obama has raised money for his campaign.
Recognizing the threat, Reid's apologies also played to his home state: "Moreover, throughout my career, from efforts to integrate the Las Vegas strip and the gaming industry to opposing radical judges and promoting diversity in the Senate, I have worked hard to advance issues."
Even before his ill-considered remarks were reported, a new survey released Saturday by the Las Vegas Review Journal showed him continuing to earn poor polling numbers. In the poll, by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Reid trailed former state Republican party chairwoman Sue Lowden by a 10 percentage points, 50 percent to 40 percent, and also lagging behind two other opponents.
More than half of Nevadans had an unfavorable opinion of Reid. Just 33 percent of respondents held a favorable opinion.

At what point will he be forced to stop trying to blame the previous administration? Seems to me that a real leader, is responsible for everything that happens AND fails to happen FROM DAY #1.

6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAnyone notice besides me that somethings havent changed?
Let's see the Patriot Act was a violation of our civil rights; the war in Iraq was wrong; GITMO is a torture factory; unemployment was a mere 3%; USA Today kept a running tally of the deaths of US soldiers in broad print on page 3; but now sine Obama has been in charge.....
the Patriot Act is still in effect, yet he could have abolished it, with the stroke of a pen.
The war in Iraq is still going on and Afghanistan is getting larger.
GITMO is still open... I could've closed my Grandma's neighbor in less time.
The death tally has been buried somewhere closer to the end of Section A...in regualr print no less.
By the way, those "tiny" countries now have nuclear capabilities and their friends have the means to provide them the missles in which to put them.
Obama sux!!
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAnybody besides me laughing at the spinless libs in Congress?
Sure they blame, Republicans for stopping their crappy legislation. Yet, Democrats have a super majority, in the Senate and control of the HOR. Congressmen and Senators of other parties can ONLY HOLD PRESS CONFERENCES, yet, failure to pass any new legislation is the fault of Republicans? DEMS and LIBS are absolute losers without the intestinal fortitude to do anything!!! Pelosi, Reid, and Barry are the perfect illustration of lack of integrity and leadership.
Who's with me? Vote out all incumbents!!!!!!

23 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow soon before Barry gives Mexico our 2nd Amendment rights?
Barry is in Mexico and plans on discussing stemming the flow of guns from here to Mexico. (The media fails to mention that most AK's and Kalishikov's aren't MADE here. Sure an AR15 makes for good media shot, but most criminals prefer the higher firepower of the AK (7.62mm) to the AR (5.56mm).)
When did the Mexican governements corruption take precident to the 2nd Amendment?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow soldiers have Obama killed in his war in Afghanistan? And if GITMO is so bad, why is't it closed?
If you want to be in charge. You are responsible for ALL THAT HAPPENS AND FAILS TO HAPPEN. If he had ANY leadership experience, then he would know this.

Hmmm, Iran's military is revving up with more military exercises. Aerial combat training missions, naval exercise's, etc. N. Korea is pitching nukes all over the place; gas prices are back on the rise; and unemployment is in double digits in several states. It seems like the only thing missing is double digit interest rates and gas lines.

Way to go Barry! I guess will help raise revenue since 95% of us are supposed have a reduction in income taxes. (The replacement cash has to come from somewhere.)
