log is to base 10

that can simplify to

0.464 = sin ^3 (2x)

but how do you solve that further......??!

[4 log (2/x)]-[2 log (2)]+[2 log (x)] = y

I've been given this and told to simplify it before solving for y = 2.

I have solved all but the relative magnitudes and phase angles of the voltages across the capacitor and inductor. How do I do this?

One possible debate I may have to prepare for my A2 German oral exam, is…

Should people be given a passport automatically after living in that country for a number of years, or should they have to earn it by taking an exam, doing something notable or completing community service etc.?

Last night I had a dream. All I remember is that I was (I think) really angry, because I was drawing something pressing the pencil down really hard, and holding it in a fist like manner (much like a young child) colouring in something. What could this mean? Am I just angry?

I need to find some household items that have been:

My friend (male) is turning 18 soon, and I don't know what to get him for his birthday. We are very close friends (male and female) but there is nothign between us, so nothing romantic please! I need soem ideas as to what to get him. I don't want to spend too much, as he will be fairly embarassed, because my family is much more well off than him. He likes planes etc. but is not a complete geek over it. Apart from that hes into the usual stuff most guys are. I'm still 17 so please don't suggest alcohol or something like that. I'm going to a fancy dress party soon, and I have to dress up as an Indian, can someone help me with simple ideas please, things that I don't have to go out and buy?

A lot of the dreams I have been having recently have been linked to having operations, in particular the lungs and hearts, and bypasses. I know some of the stuff that has happened in my dreams is beyond current medical possibilities, such as a lung bypass.

There is always a big emphasis on general/local anaesthetics, and I have always wanted to experience a general anaesthetic if that has anything to do with this.

The other big theme is broken bones, again this is something I have always wanted to do, so I can go on crutches and get some attention.

If its important I have not had or am not going to have an operation soon, and I have never broken a limb or had an operation.

I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on these strange dreams? I do quite enjoy them, but it is a bit odd!
