2 AnswersPolitics6 years agoAn unemployment question. help!!?
My husband has worked at a job in MA for the last two years. The company filed bankruptcy and closed the MA facility. They told him that if he refused to go to their facility in NH, 2.5 hour drive each way, that he would be considered to have quit voluntarily and ineligible for MA unemployment. Is this correct? Will this invalidate MA unemployment claim. Neither of us has ever filed an unemployment claim before. Help!!

15 AnswersRamadan7 years agoMy 95 year old father gave power of attorney to a con artist. What can we do?
My 96 year old father was talked into giving a power of attorney to a virtual con artist a few years back. She has opened all kinds of accounts under his name and I have no idea of how much money she has taken from him. When he told her he wants to cancel the power of attorney she became very ugly and made all kinds of threats against family members. She has recording device on his phone and regularly gets his mail and opens it. He lives in VA. I just recently became aware of the abuses. What can we do to end this mess? I know that we can proceed with a civil action but are her actions criminal in Virginia?
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoWhy do you think none of the Romney five sons have served in the American military?
None of the Romney sons have served in the United States Armed Forces, to my knowledge. Why do you think that none of them have been in the military? Why do you think Mitt never served? If someone is advocating war, should they not be willing to send their own sons into a battle if they are so willing to send someone else's sons?

7 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks10 years agoWhy are honest political answers censored because they do not agree with asker?
I gave an honest answer to a question the other day and it was removed because I disagreed with the person asking the question. Is this not censorship on the part of Yahoo. Nothing vented, nothing obscene. How many more people get answers removed because they are opinions differing from those of the person asking questions? Why ask a question in the first place if you don't want to hear a differing opinion?

4 AnswersDogs10 years agoHow many of you are as sick of Sarah Palin as I am?
All I want for Christmas is a few weeks without having to hear about, hear or see Sarah Palin constantly in the news. Just a break from this witless idiot would be so nice. How many more of you are as sick of her as I am. And please, do not tell me that I am scared of Saint Sarah. I just don't think she has the qualifications for the ambitions she has. I don't think Daffy Duck should be president either and I am not scared of him either. I would vote for Snoop Dogg before I would Palin because he would be far better suited for the job.
8 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIs Sarah Palin going down to Florida to help burn the Qurans?
The minister in Florida should make a photo op and invite Ms. Palin down for his festivities. I am sure she would bring lots of donations into his church and he could even split them with her for showing up. Anybody want to loan her your bic lighter?
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf a mortgage is signed only by one person, are both responsible for the morgage?
A property is owned by a couple. The wife takes a mortgage on the property. The husband does not give credit information or income. The mortgage is solely in the wife's name. They go into foreclosure. Can the debtor collect from the husband even though he had no part in the mortgage? The property is in both names but the loan only in the name of the wife. Is this legal? The property is located in Tennessee and it is not a community property state. What can the husband do to avoid this?
3 AnswersCredit1 decade agoDoes anyone else feel betrayed by the government?
I feel that the people that hold office now, be them Republican or Democrat, are mired in a contest to stonewall the other party. They are not doing the jobs we elected them to do ...represent us the people and do their best for us. They are so party eager that they have no loyalty to the people. Why can't they work together for the good of the people instead of behaving like children on a playground. This is our country after 8 years of mismanagement. It has problems that need to be fixed...not political party bull. Does this aggrevate anybody else? I did not vote for them to go play political gain, I voted for them to do their dang jobs for us.
12 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoHow foolish do Rush supporters feel now?
Do you think these people that were so distressed with Rush Limbaugh's near death experience feel after finding out that Rush had virtually nothing wrong? Do you think that God sent a miracle or perhaps Rush was trying for publicity? Myself, I think he needed a bit of publicity.
