3 cups of decaf green tea

5 cups of 16 fl oz of water

1 large banana

1 protein bar - 90 cals

1 medium salad - romaine lettuce and spinach, tomatoes, 3 oz of roasted turkey, 1/2 cup of celery, 1/8 cup of shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese, and less than 2 tbsp of dressing that equals 100 cals

I haven't had dinner yet. It is still early afternoon. But it will probably be about 4oz of baked salmon with some fresh veggies on the side. I do plan on going to the gym and doing at least a hour of cardio plus weights for about another half hour. I do cardio about 5hrs of cardio a week, weight train 5 days a week, and do CORE workouts at home 6 days. I don't want to starve my body. Do I need to eat more?

And does the whole 1200 cal/day to prevent your body from starving count the calories that you burn in the gym? Say if I eat 1200 cals, go the gym and burn 400 does that mean I need to really eat 1600 cals to not go in starvation mode or is 1200 cals enough?

In the last week, one of my cats started to poop on the carpet right by the front door. He's 3 so he knows what he's doing and that it is in the wrong place. The liter boxes are clean so I thought it was because his brothers was beating him up when he tired to go in the room with the liter boxes. I separated them for a bit and the beatings between them subsided. But he did it again this morning and his brother was with me the whole time. He had food, water, and cuddled me all night. I know he's probably showing he's upset about something but I can't figure it out. Their schedules, food, environment, liter box location, etc have not changed. They get plenty of attention and love. His behavior has not changed at all besides this new bad habit. He's never done this before and I just don't know what to do to stop it. I don't want to put in him a separate room all night with a liter box but it's looking like I might have to. It seems to happen in the early morning between 4am and 7am sometime.

Anyone have any suggestions about what may be the cause of this new habit or a way to stop it?

I think I could train one of my cats to use the toilet since he seems smart. He opens cabinets and doors (they're pull handles). He also tries to turn on the faucet and when his water dish is empty he'll let me know by trying to grab the water bottle next to me with his paws. So here is the questions, do you think it is possible? If so, how would I go about training him?

Oil and gas prices continue to set new records everyday. If the SEC can freeze trading when stocks start to slide uncontrollably, then why can't they do it when it soars uncontrollably? It just seems really unethical/unfair that these oil companies continue to make record profits while the rest of the economy slips further and further down the drain. Is it just because it is benefitting the ones in power and they need to make as much money as the can before the political tides shifts away from them? Consumer spending continues to dwindle bc there is no extra money after the rising gas, electric, and food costs. How does the Feds expect consumers to spend to help the economy if they can barely afford to enough gas to get to work and put food on the table?
