With all the talk of the DHS's report on domestic terror coming from the right, haven't we overlooked all the eco-terror and fanatical animal groups that have been much more active recently?

With the recent DHS report on right-wing terrorism and the 14th anniversary of Oklahoma City, I was wondering if anyone had any statistics on whether right-wing groups or ecoterror groups have been more active recently? (I mean, OK City was horrible, but not very recent).

In the US, we have had poverty fighting programs (on the large scale) since the 40's (including and especially the New Deal and the Great Society). As these and other programs have been in place for so long, why have they made so little progress in ridding the US of poverty?
