By alternative, I mean anything in any darker subculture. Vintage/retro, goth, pastel goth, cybergoth, Victorian goth (all the goths), traditional punk, neo/nu punk, rockabilly, pin-up, psychobilly, grunge, soft grunge, nu-grunge, "festival' clothing, hippie/ nu-hippie, steampunk, hardcore, metal, casual lolita, emo, scene, any sort of alternative streetwear, anything, even if it's relatively obscure, like gypsy punk or things not listed here. I'm a woman, but I'm interested in any stores with unisex clothing, as well as men's clothing, since some things are basically unisex.

Examples of such websites and brands: Killstar, Tripp NYC, Attitude Clothing, NastyGal, Modcloth, Spin Doctor, Black Milk,Heavy Red, Lip Service, Hell Bunny, Kiss Me Deadly, etc etc etc.

Any links to good blogs, links to stores themselves, just the names of sites/brands, etc are all welcome. Specialty stores like Sock Dreams are also welcome.

One of the main characters is Rachael, she s mother of Anne (I think that s her name). Rachel is younger than most characters, lives with some sort of half-breed vampire family. They lived in a mansion, Anne burned it down, they rebuilt. Much of the book is from Rachel s POV. She falls in love with a distant relative named Athena, a thin willowly woman who is the companion of someone who I want to say is named Loki. Or maybe one of his dogs is Loki.

There s another relative, I believe named Christian or Christoff or something similar, who rides around with a biker gang. He brings home two young teenage girls.

Athena turns out to be male-bodied and sleeps with women, sleeps with Rachel. Rachel ends up pregnant.

There are tertiary charcters that are all old ghouls, literally, but I can t remember names.

ANY HELP is appreciated, even if you ve also read it, can t remember the title or author, but can remember more about the book.

Also, would have had to have been published by 2007ish.

I'm an amateur jewelry-maker, just enough info to be dangerous, basically. I'm trying to recreate a necklace I had and lost. I need to know what the thinnest black (or super dark navy or dark grey) cord is, so I can purchase it. It needs to be able to be tied in a way that leaves slack, and not hold any bends put in it, eg not wire.Chain also does not work for the main part. I'd prefer to avoid the traditional black mesh/woven/leather stuff if possible. Something similar to hemp, preferably with less.. shedding? I don't know the right word. But something similar to to the ends of hair splitting off.

Please help me, I've googled my butt off and I still haven't been able to find anything suitable.

I've had two bouts of numbness in my hands recently. This wasn't pins-and-needles, cut-off-the-blood-flow numbness, it was in random spots in my fingers and palm, while spots right next to it had regular sensation. I read that some pregnant women experience acute CTS, is this true? Has anyone had firsthand experience with this?
