I live in Wisconsin and last winter my furnace went out. We had a new one installed a Carrier Infinity 96 variable speed 2 stage furnace. The contractor used my thermostat that I had bought 6 years ago, the LUX TX500. A few nights ago the furnace didn't turn on and since my thermostat was acting up, I decided to reinstall the old RobertShaw 9500 thermostat and it turned on with no issue. The following day I notice that the furnace with the old thermostat never went on high, it would turn on low and stay on low but it seemed more steady in heat delivery. I eventualy fixed the LUX thermostat and reinstalled it. It doesn't turn on as much as the Robertshaw one but when it does kick in it does it at a lower speed for about 5-10 minutes then it kicks in the high speed. So what I want to know is, is it better $$$ to have the newer one installed that kicks in on high after 5-10 minutes on low or is it better to install the older thermostat and have it turn on more though out the day at a lower speed? By the way, neither thermostat is for 2 stage furnace.

I was told by my doctor that I have athlete's foot a few months ago but I didn't really think much of it. Then 2 months ago I got an itch on my little toe on my right foot and it wouldn't go away so I went and got some anti-fungal cream and eventually it went away. A few weeks later the itch came back but this time it I my wife was in the hospital and was ill so I couldn't get my anti-fungal cream for 2 days. Eventually I did get some cream but the following night while applying the cream a blister had formed on the inside of my little toe and it burst with puss. I went to the doctor the following day and he said it was athlete's foot and gave me some more cream. Well know it is 3 weeks later and the itch is back. My question is why is it that the itch comes back if I treat the area for 3 days twice a day after the itch has stopped? And is it common for the itch to be located in just one toe? I thought athletes foot was very contagious?

In the dream I am walking with a man having a conversation( telling him a secret-gossip about a friend of mine). When all of a sudden a swarm of bees began to follow me but just me, as the man was not attacked. I ran a few feet but quickly realized that I couldn't out run them so I cover up with a hooded sweater as the man tried to swipe them off of me. I did get stung in the eye and in the back. I squashed as many bees as possible (2-4). Many ended up inside my hoodie and where easy to feel and kill. Including the bee that stung me in the eye. After about 25 feet they left.

I guess you can say it was a very violent dream but oh well. I try to look at the whole scenario to try and get a better idea of the meaning. Hopefully I didn't forget anything important.

Anyone notice the lag in Yahoo mail? I have been sent email @5pm only to have them arrive hours later in my inbox?!?!?! So I tried sending myself an email with gmail and sure enough it took 20 minutes to arrive.......Anyone have any ideas? May have to change to gmail.....

A few months back I got a guppy fry mixed in with my Neons. Well it grew and then the most incredible thing happened. It got huge and had fry.... The only problem is that it has no mate. The tank has 5 Neons, 10 Raboras Heteromorpha, pair of Triple red Cacatuoides ,6 bolivian rams, 2 German and one male betta. Do guppies spawn with no mate or does someone have jungle fever? LOL..........

I have a 94 Achieva and it won't start. Stored it for the winter and now it won't start. Replaced the Crankshaft sensor and coil for the spart plugs. The Engine turns but will not fire up. So we took in the Starter and replaced it also. Still no go, Battery is fully charged . If you hold the key in you will start to see smoke come out of the engine but no start. Anyone have any other ideas?BTW it is the 2.3L engine by GM with the OHC 4 cylinder set up.

I have an outstanding credit card bill from 2000, I am now at a better job and can pay it off. I just can't find the Creditor. My debt has been sold so many times that I have no idea where it went. I am sure some people wish theirs would do this but I am trying to make things right. Is their a search engine or a service that can track this down?
