  • What is the song from the wild child trailer on abc family?

I'm looking for the upbeat instrumental that has been playing on the commercial for the movie for the August 8th showing on ABC family. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to identify it. I don't have a music identifying program so that is not an option.

Also, it is NOT "Toxic" or "Welcome to the Show" (those are from different commercials for the same move) I appreciate your help.

  • Any Greek/New Testament Scholars who can answer a question about Mark 14:55- 65?

I'm working on an exegesis of Mark 14:55-65. I'm using the Nestle Greek text. My question is about the verb Εψευδομαρτυρουν. Every lexicon, commentary, and translation lists the verb as meaning "bearing false witness". Here is my question:

The council is examining Jesus on a charge of blasphemy, to support their charges they bring many (παντεσ) to "bear false witness" against him. The only example of the testimony we're given in Mark's gospel is Jesus' claim that he can rebuild the temple in 3 days and so on. While they are definitely taking the statement out of context, other gospels corroborate that Jesus made this statement. So, how is the council bearing false witness? (and yet all the gospels agree that the testimony is false)

Is it a bias of the gospel authors? Am I mistranslating the charges? What am I missing?

Can you recommend a (scholarly) text or commentary that may address this issue?

  • Could someone with political science experience explain this to me?

Why is the republican party catering to its conservative members rather than moderates? Political issues aside, it seems (from a business standpoint at least) more profitable for them to cater to the needs of those in the middle and more likely to switch sides, like the republicans who sometimes vote democrats, instead of the far right, who will never, ever, switch parties. If the far right were to promote their own third party candidate, they could never beat the other two established parties. I assume it would be very much like the far-left candidates who run under a new party and then get 3% of the vote. Wouldn't it work the same way for the right?

I know very little about the workings of a political party, so you might have to start at the bottom level to explain this to me. Is it completely unlike a business? Am I making the wrong assumptions about how it works? Is it normal for a party to have a pendulum that swings from liberal to conservative within a party?

  • What do you call these members of a worship procession?

What is the title of the person who swings the incense back and forth?

What is the title of the person who holds up the Gospel during the procession?

I'm looking for the Catholic or Episcopal terms.
