Will installing windows 7 remove the windows xp partition on my computer?

I have the answer key, and it says the second one is the most reactive because it forms the most stable carbocation. If someone could please explain this to me... How do I determine which carbocation is the most stable?
2 AnswersChemistry9 years agoWearing leg warmers for roller derby?
I've just started roller derby, and I am curious about wearing leg warmers during bouts... Will they allow you to wear them? It seems like they might be dangerous if they start slipping down. I would be using fashion tape to keep them up, but I'm just wondering about any regulations against them?
2 AnswersOther - Sports10 years agoCntrl Alt Delete no longer shows task manager?
When I hit ctrl alt delete i get the task manager, but none of my processes or options show up. It's just a scveen that looks similar, but has only my computers user name listed with the options to disconnect, log off, etc. It looks like the top half of the task manager has been removed.
I think I just hit something on the keyboard that did that to the tast manager... how do I set it back!!! I would like to be able to open the task manager and close programs that have stopped responding, but I can't do that as of right now.
I have windows XP.

4 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoIs the frame of my bike to small?
I haven't riden a bike in a long time, and I recently purchased a new one. I am a little uncomfortable with the way it feels, and i'm not sure if its because its been a while since I rode, or because the frame is too small.
I am 5'9 and the frame of the bike is 16". I have fairly long legs and when the seat is positioned comfortably the seat is just a bit lower then the handlebars. When I petal, my thigh comes up pretty high (at least parallel to the ground, if not a bit higher). I feel like this isn't how a bike should fit. The sales person seems to think there is no problem however.
Can anyone give me some guidance? Should I swap if for a 18"? Or is there something I can do to make it fit better?
Note: its a Reebok Rush bike, sort of mountain bike like, and I'm mainly using it for going to work and back (mainly streets, some terrain)...
Any references would be greatly appreciated as well!

1 AnswerBiology1 decade agoWhat does "null mutations that are not 100% penetrant" mean?
http://biochemistry.ucsf.edu/courses/genetics/wp-c...
I found this in the link above, on page 2. Does anyone know what a null mutation that is not 100% penetrant mean? I know that a null mutation is a gene mutation that makes it's protein product non-functional. Does not 100% penetrant mean that it is partially functional (sort of like sickle cell anemia)?

4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoWhere can I find cadaveric images to study from?
I am studying for a lab practicum in Anatomy and I have missed a few labs where we get to see locations on cadavers. Although I have Netter's Anatomy atlas, I would like to be able to see read cadaver images to study from. Does anyone know any good websites for this? I don't mind having to search around a bit, and I cannot afford any software or any other texts at this time (and I'd prefer to not have to go to the library to find books.)
Does anyone know of any decent websites that have this?

1 AnswerBiology1 decade agoHow do you find the critical value for this?
A company that provides customer service claims the time to wait for a cust. service rep is 5.0 minutes. A sample of 20 calls to the service line showed that the mean waiting time for a cust service rep is 6.0 minutes with a standard deviation of 2.0 minutes. The population standard deviation is known to be 1.85 minutes. Assuming a normal variation, test the 1% significance level whether the mean waiting time is greater than 5.0 minutes.
Critical values
a) 2.326
b) 2.539
c) 2.576
d) 2.861
I know that a z test at 99% CI gives an area of 2.576. But a t test for 19 df and 0.01 is 2.539. I'm a little confused about which test is correct. I was under the assumption that if population standard deviation is known you should use a z test... but I just want to make sure that is correct.
Any help is greatly appreciated on this matter :)

To calculate the test statistic.... (x-k)/(s/sqrt n) should you use the standard deviation of 2 or 1.85? I know these both give relatively the same test statistic, but which is the correct deviation to use?
Also, if my Ho=u less than or equal to 5 min and H1= u greater than 5 min and I reject H0, that means the mean waiting time is greater than 5 minutes.... correct?

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoShould you use the Poisson probability formula for a question like this?
There is an average of 7 hotel rooms that will stay vacant any night at a Hotel. What is the probability than on any given night there will be less than 2 vacant hotel rooms?
A) 0.0073
B) 0.0223
C) 0.0296
D) 0.9927
Using P(x)=(u^x * e^-u)/x!
=7^1 * 2.71828^-7/1!
=0.00638
Which is closet to answer A. Is this correct? If not, how would I solve such a question?
