I have a packet of beef and a packet of lamb mince - I want to try to reduce the amount of oil in my diet so I was wondering if I can steam these instead of frying them in a pan?

He dumped me around this time last year (we were together for 5 years). I was heartbroken, but not as much as I am now. I decided to stay friends with him and denied any feelings for him. But as soon as he told me he's getting married to her i realize i'm madly in love with him and the thought makes me want to kill myself. I've actually been planning out a suicide attempt, I can't stand this. I can't put myself though the pain of watching him getting married to a girl he's only been with for a year. I've been asking him if he wants to hang out or grab a bite to eat and he keeps saying yes "I'll definitely be free this weekend" and then he never calls me and cancells last minute. I've been best friends for 6 years and I feel like I'm loosing him. I feel so sad, I don't know why he's treating me like this :(

I like going out for a nice long walk to lose weight recently but decided to try running for a while... then someone driving in a car yelled "FATTY" and threw their McDonalds wrapper at me. I was really upset it hurt my feelings so much.

This guy she was shagging last year dumped her after she was too tired to see him one night. This happened around September 2007 bear in mind. Basically she goes to his local pub on her own just to see him. He told her he doesn't want anyone to know that they used to see each other, but everyone in the local know because she always goes there to stalk him!

The worst thing is that she drags me along! Every time I suggest we meet, she says she only wants to go there. This stopped for about 8 months and now she's started it again. I hate going there because its full of old trashy of the trashiest men, and they all laugh at her - she doesn't even realize it. It's just really weird. I've sat her down and tried to make her think about what she's doing and then she says that I'm being mean and making her feel bad!

What should I do? She's one of my only friends and I can't bear to lose her over this.

the voice in my head keeps telling me I'm never going to find love and i'm so ugly and fat. It keeps reminding me of when my ex dumped me for another woman. How do I switch it off? I just want it to go away.

It's been 8 months since we broke up and decided to be friends. Recently i've been really hung up on him but he's moved on and fallen in love with someone else.

I don't want to lose him, he's my best friend. I don't have any other real friends, and can't walk to my family. What should I do? Please help me get over him.

I feel rejected by everyone.

I can't get a job, I'm never smart enough, good looking enough, assertive enough...

The love of my life left me for another woman, I always felt I was never good enough for him and felt worthless and ****.

Even my family reject me because I'm not good enough to fit up to their high standards.

I don't have any friends to hand out with or talk to, every time I try to make friends they reject me and end up hurting me...

I feel worthless, I want to end my pathetic sad existence because I'll never be good enough for anyone.

In april my boyfriend broke up with me because he realised he wasn't in love with me after 5 years on/off relationship. I was devastated but we both wanted to be like best friends.

I'm still in love with him and wish everyday of my life he will ask for me back, but I hide those feelings from the world and pretend that I'm ok with being just friends. I'd rather have him as a friend than not have him in my life at all.

A few weeks later after out relationship ended, he started a new one with another woman, and he's now very much involved with her. It hurts everyday knowing he's in love with her after only a few months and more committed to her than he was with me.

She doesn't want us to be friends because she thinks I want to break them up. I want him to be happy so I don't want that. I just want to be over him and not be in love with him anymore.

He wants me to meet her for the first time next weekend, I'm already upset and crying about the thought of meeting the woman he loves. I don't know what to do,

Why oh why can't I?

I just graduated from college with a degree in Retail Marketing. But I'm fed up searching for jobs and people saying i don't have experience.

I think I'd like a career in I.T because its good pay and companies are always searching for people in this field. Where do I start? I can't afford to take a course right now as I have just graduated.

With 100's of Marketing graduates every year, is an undergraduate degree really worth anything?

I am among many graduates this year with a Marketing related degree on a hunt to start an exciting career in Marketing. However my search so far has left me disheartened and wondering whether my degree is really worth anything. With a 2:1 qualification in Retail Marketing, 6 years part time work experience, including 1 year international work placement, I thought that on paper I would make an ideal candidate for many graduate head hunters.

But without specific Marketing experience, it proves to be very difficult landing an interview with any organisation for a Marketing Assistant/Executive role? Endless adverts for high pressure sales roles appear on every job site and I fear taking a sales role will never give me the Marketing experience I desperately need.

So my question essentially is, how can a Marketing graduate without experience stand out from the rest?

The contract stated that I need to give a month's notice for resignation but I was sexually harassed and I cannot face going back to work and seeing those perpitrators again, what should I do?

I have severe ache in my muscles after my first body pump class, especially in my thighs. It hurts to sit down so much, what should I do?
